Very enjoyable place to go back too after 40 plus years like going back in time really enjoyed drink and meal there,will try and go back in new year brought back some memories.

Great little pub and B&B. Stopped here for a night while visiting Longleat. The rooms are a little rough around the edges but are more than acceptable for the price charged.Food was fantastic and, I would say, underpriced. Breakfast was great and just the right amount to get going for the day.Service here is exceptional with really friendly staff.

A wonderful, cozy spot with engaging and generous people behind the bar and kitchen. The beet burger is brilliant. Perfect for vegetarians. The Poughman’s a great choice for a snack. They also make their own Ale, which is delicious. Highly recommend.

Yes, it is conveniently close to the A303 and the A36 as the online reviews will keep reminding you.But, it is also Food Hygiene Standards Rated 1.1 out of a possible 5 that is not very good, is it?The reviews don't mention this fact quite so much.The only homemade" products here are the monotonous self serving online reviews.Quaint

From the moment of booking was provided with a professional and courteous service.David went out of his way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.Room was warm, comfortable and very adequate for our needs.Dinner was superb with excellent choice and generous portions.Breakfast was again extremely tasty and served with a friendly smile.If you are looking for a village pub experience, this could be the one.

Service was good but the food wasn’t seasoned properly. I had a lamb shank with lumpy waxy mash. Not great. I couldn’t finish it all it was that bad. On the plus side their local ale was good

Nice pub and location. Only had one drink as we were on a minibus trip. One beer which was good. Staff very friendly
