Milsom House

There isn’t enough stars to rate Milsom house and this is because of the fantastic team of carers that look after my mum, going from the management to the cleaners, they are all just wonderful,it doesn’t matter how busy they are,they always find time to stop and have a nice chat with us making us feel incredibly welcome!My mum was basically on her death bed in hospital when we managed to get her in Milsom House and within days it was as though the clock had gone back 5 years as her ‘very strong’ personality came back which was wonderful for all her family to see which was down to the wonderful care and patience of all the staff at Milsom HouseShe has now been at Milsom for over 8 months and is absolutely thriving and that is down to the fantastic team that Milsom house are fortunate to haveThank you for looking after our mum/Nan/great Nan so well

My mum Betty Hamilton spent the past 6 weeks in Milsom House. She didn’t want to be there as she was fiercely independent but her health had deteriorated so much she had to have nursing care.Whilst there she was treated with the utmost respect and care and encouraged in every way, nursing staff actually made her legs better but this sadly was not enough passing away in her 93rd year!!!!Although I do not know everyone’s name I would like to mentionRegistered NursesLettaAnnaCorneliaLee the chef was wonderfully encouraging.Mags always chatting with my mum.Gillian the bossLouiseAll staff were wonderful I am sorry I cannot remember all names.I would recommend this nursing home, extremely high levels of nursing care and buckets full of compassion!Thank you all so muchJacqueline & Mark Hamilton
