Very friendly and amazing prices, reset a stone that fell out of my ring for only £5 when I had been quoted £70 for the job at another market shop! Got to collect it same day, too. Couldn’t recommend enough, 5 stars. Thank you coronet for saving my engagement ring!

The inscription on a stainless steel plaque supplied a short while ago by this trader faded badly very quickly. On taking it back they agreed it was not satisfactory and offered to re-do it using a different technique. However, as the fault came to light so soon after collection, and I had lost confidence, I opted for a refund, but this was refused point blank. They seemed unaware that within a 30 day period the purchaser is entitled to a refund in respect of faulty goods. In the end, agreement could not be reached, so I left, out of pocket, and have now found an alternative solution. It was not a positive or consumer-friendly experience.

Went in there to get the glass replaced on a watch as it was chipped/scratched and they told me 3 weeks and it was £40 which I was happy paying at the time as it came to the 3 week deadline I got back the watch and they then charged me another £30 but I wasn’t to bothered as i just wanted to get it done but as I took a closer look firstly they chipped the glass they fitted on it then they used a cheapy rubber glue solution which left marks and stains all around the sides instead of uv light cement that’s meant to be used. They also used the wrong size piece on the top of my watch which left a gap on the side of the watch to then charge me £70 total is ridiculous they also couldn’t even find my watch when I first came to collect it it seems they really aren’t as good as expected to be. Overall really bad experience there and totally ripped off just rushed the job and took no care in the watch itself absolutely awful.Thank you for the reply but why would I then return it if you couldn’t even fit the right size glass and you shouldn’t need me to tell you what is the right glue when I have now got it fixed from your mistake which has been done within 4 days while yours is 3 weeks. Just not good enough hence the 1 star

really beautiful work from these guys. I had 2 rings to cut one of which they managed to cut down from a size Q to a size L and both fit perfectly and had been polished so were shining. I also had a broken necklace, it was so delicate I didn't think it was even fixable and they did a wonderful job. not the neatest I have to admit and I lost half of one of the smaller diamonds as it was so close to the break. but incredibly happy with the outcome. also the staff are incredibly nice and welcoming so all round I had a wonderful experience
