Co-operative Funeral Service (Tamworth)

I cannot thank Dawn highly enough in this review. If I could give 7 stars I would. Dawn took over the arrangements for my father after I had got very upset by the treatment I had received from a more local (to me) Co-op branch. Despite taking over arrangements which were far from straightforward, Dawn's treatment of me and my family was amazing - just what I needed. Dawn was professional, compassionate, really listened to what I needed to happen following delays and issues and she organised everything, every last detail, perfectly. When she stepped in I had to do nothing else to ensure my father was cared for. I am so grateful, Dawn. You are a credit to this branch and to your profession as a whole. Thank you.

The whole team were amazing they fitted us in just before a bank Holiday so we could make arrangements. Leah was amazing so compassionate and understanding. The communication was brilliant - there was a mix up regarding thr catering arrangements and Leah & her manager went out of their way to sort new arrangements for us - the quality of the food is high class. Every step of the arrangements was highly valued with the time and care taken - nothing was too much trouble and on the day the team that has collected dad from the house after he died were there at the funeral too and it was like greeting a friend. I would 100% recommend them as they were so caring and nothing was too much trouble, more importantly they listened to how we wanted dad's funeral and we knew he was being well looked after in their care. The Co-Op were nothing short of wonderful when handling the passing of my brother in January. Kind, courteous and understanding, they were the quiet voice in a storm that was so needed during this time.

Very professional service, friendly & caring staff. Paul was very caring on the day of the Funeral towards our family, a calm & welcome influence. The florist's spray I chose was so beautiful too, huge thank you.

I worked there up until a month ago. The company is very much customer centred. Great care is taken with the appearance and cleanliness of all their vehicles.

We used coop for my mum passing.What can I say other than omg what a wonderful funeral we gave her thanks to these guys. She wanted a fairy garden and butterflies on her coffin and what they got her was just out of this world it was perfect. The lady on the day that walked in front of the Hurst and coordinate everything on the day I couldn't ask for anyone better she was just amazing. We told coop what my mum's favourite colour was and they all wore yellow ties which was amazing. From the first appointment to the last minute I couldn't ask for better. When we got home they arranged my mums flowers on our front garden perfectly. Would I recommend this place 100 percent infact I don't think you should go anywhere else I would give them more stars if I could.

Our family have used the coop funeral service in Tamworth before, when our dad past away. So we knew they would take good care of our mum and give her the send off she truly deserved. They are a very professional company who really do care. They go out of their way to make sure your loved one is well looked after. I couldn’t thank them enough for their support and help with making difficult decisions . Having them organise mums funeral, took awake the stress and worry, after loosing a loved one. They were brilliant from beginning to end. I can’t thank them enough. Thank you Dawn and Abigail and everyone who who looked after us and our mum. I would also like to thank the hearse drivers and pallbearers and Leanne.Thank you Kelly for looking after mum at the chapel of rest. And Kath, for providing an excellent catering service for the wake.We really appreciate you all. And we can’t thank you enough.
