Aidan Gaunt Family Funeral Director

Aiden Gaunt was our chosen undertakers for my Dad's funeral yesterday. We cannot fault them at all. He shown so much empathy for my father and our family at this very sad time. Cannot recommend this family run business enough.

I couldn’t recommend Aiden and his team enough. They took such amazing care of my angel baby girl. From the get go I was constantly updated as to where she was, which hospital and where she’d be staying until her funeral. Nothing was too much of an ask and I knew she was safe with them. Thank you so much for giving us a beautiful send off for our baby girl. On top of that they also placed her ashes into our necklaces and arranged for the return of the rest of her ashes in a gorgeous scatter tube. Thank you for looking after my baby.

Big thanks to Aiden and Vicky for making the funeral of mum as easy as possible. They took responsibility of everything making a difficult time as easy as possible. All we had to do was tell Aiden, mums and our wishes and it was just done.

As far as compassion and care Aiden is incredible. He sorted everything with my dad and daughters funeral . Amazing human , so caring . So understandable .Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend this funeral director, very understanding of our needs at a very emotional time losing my very dear mum, everything was made so much easier all the funeral, flower arrangements etc even down to ordering some very special ashes into jewellery the jewellery is really nice, and I would recommend anybody wanting ashes into jewellery to use them, they ordered it for us and sorted it all out, all we had to do was choose what we wanted and they did the rest, very professional and understanding company. I would definitely recommend using this company.

My father passed away and my twin brother selected Aidan Gaunt for the arrangements. My brother was registrar at Dukinfield Crematorium for many years, then at Rochdale. His experience turned out to be invaluable. I was totally impressed by Aidan and his staff. Both before the day of the funeral, and indeed on the day. I can't describe everything, but just give some highlights. Hearst arrived at the house, with one limousine. We placed nice picture of dad behind the coffin looking out. As they left the house Aidan personally walked in front of the hearse for about 300 yards as the neighbours stood and the end of their driveways. Upon arrival at the crematorium they opened the hearse, bowed, pall-beared the coffin inside. Placed the photo and a single wreath. Then bowed again. For the limo back the driver was again 100% professional, dignified, respectful. We collected Dad's remains today and scattered them. Again, presented just the way we asked.Aidan, thank you and your staff so much. You were a pleasure to work with. My family really appreciated the very personal touches and attention to detail. I will go back to America tomorrow with the knowledge that you provided a service just like dad would have wanted.The fees for your services were very reasonable. My brother and I have already said you will be our family undertakers from this day forward. Thank you so much.
