Service by Gemma at the garage in buying our first electric car was excellent. Parking was extremely challenging on adjacent roads but this is being addressed. Unfortunately the off site admin team initially gave us the wrong registration number but this was very quickly rectified by the efficient staff at the garage. Was impressed by the herbal tea selection as well as the usual tea and coffee.

Would give zero stars if possible, I tied to book a KIA in for warranty work. They refused to do so as we didn't purchase the car there ? They also tried to recommend we go to another KIA garage ?? Why should you when this is supposedly your local garage. Spoke to KIA UK and they said this is not correct procedure and would investigate internally. Very unhelpful and dismissive would avoid

Bonny the sale assistant was amazing. Friendly, very knowledgeable and very professional. Would definitely call her personally when I decided to replace the Sportage in a few years time.

The staff are lazy and distinterested. Nathan, apparently a manager, took my call to arrange a test drive. When we turned up for it, I get blank looks and told there’s no car to test drive. I can see from reviews it happens to others. I can imagine Kia losing a lot of business here. Waste of time. Avoid.

Extremely poor service. As soon as the woman answered the phone at the Peugeot servicing department I knew there would be an issue. She was vague and dismissive and wouldn’t book my Peugeot in because it’s not been there before. Ridiculous. Will take my money elsewhere!!

Pretty devastatingly poor service . Happy to make the sale but the details were not met and the salesmanship just that .... sales didn't feel the need to make aftercare a priority. I am sure the mechanics and service team are great but severely let down by the front of house experience

Had a great experience at Kia Macklin Motors. We were helped by Scott McLeod. We didn't end up buying a car here but the service was really considerate and fast. Many thanks to Scott.

Not great service. Went to see a car that was over £50000 and was told in no uncertain terms that my current car a Tesla couldn’t be traded in as Macklin were selling electric cars but not taking trade in’s of electric cars. Ah well they obviously don’t need the £50000!Wonder what KIA would think of this?

Avoid if your buying a new car or nearly new car. I purchased a Renault Clio online and had no issues whatsoever, the sales team were more than helpful and quick in sorting finance for the car and delivering to me days later. I had the car for 6 weeks and when out on a short journey to Glasgow - smoke started belting out the front of the car and a smell coming in through the car. I had to pull over. It was the clutch. This car I had purchased was a 71 plate with just over 7,000 miles on the clock so there should have been no issue with a clutch?!. After contacting Macklin motors again it took me over a week to sort and arrange my car to come back in to be analysed. I got push back at first but eventually got someone to agree to have it looked it. The day I took the car back in I was to receive a courtesy car. The car given originally had no fuel and was filthy. Not good for a customer. Luckily enough a sales manager saw this and sorted us with a new electric mg zs. I have had this now since 17 August - 8 weeks later and still have no update on when my car will be fixed and I have had the courtesy car longer than my actual one I wanted and purchased!!! The after sales team for the company are a disgrace and I won't buy again from this company not would I recommend. It was all friendly and helpful when they want a sale but after you put pen to paper they are not interested and show no loyalty to customers. Terrible service.
