Am just wonder about the Little heath carehome. This care home is excellent and the staff are amazing. It's like an extension to our family. The staff they are very friendly and attentive for to the residents. The activities programme is excellent. I would like them to all know how much we appreciate all the care they give.

My Mum was placed at Little heath in May 2020 during the start of the pandemic, after suffering 3 life changing strokes. As a family this was obviously upsetting to have to place a loved one in full time care. The staff were welcoming and understood our concerns regarding my mother. They were attentive and really cared about her and about us. They stayed in constant contact throughout the pandemic and made it possible for us to remain in contact via facetime throughout Covid restrictions. She has remained in little Heath ever since and the team in the care home have been truly amazing. The facilities, activities and personal time given to the residents is beyond everything we could have hoped for. The whole team are extremely passionate and caring. I cannot recommend this care home enough. Review from Jason and Betsy Marsh

My Dad was admitted to Little Heath on 25th June 2021, to the Memory floor, to receive the specialist dementia nursing care that they were advertising. What followed was six weeks of neglect which ended in him being rushed to RUH hospital with Urosepsis, Severe AKI (Acute Kidney Injury), Urinary Retention (he had not passed urine for several days), pressure ulcers grade 2 and 3 (which were present on admission), Hypernatremia (low body water) and dehydration. The hospital informed me that they did not believe my Dad would survive and that they were shocked to learn that he had been living in a care facility given his condition. The hospital did their best to stabilise him, however, he passed away a few weeks following his release to a different, fully capable, dementia care facility. After Dads admission, it was referred to their safeguarding team due to the seriousness of his condition. In my possession I hold a full chronological report from RUH including pictures of my Dad’s pressure Ulcers and medical conditions and it states NEGLECT. I still do not have a death certificate as the Coroner has an open investigation into the direct cause.Little Heath seemed unable to provide any care for even the most basic of dementia symptoms. During my Dad’s stay at Little Heath, he was ‘cared’ for largely by agency staff/students who had no training in this area. I would receive telephone calls from them complaining that he was wandering and moving furniture, which shows their lack of knowledge as these are not unusual traits for those suffering with this illness.I believe he didn’t receive any adequate care during his time there. In addition, the staff ignored any concerns I raised prompting me to take a senior member of the team that cared for him in his previous care facility, to visit him. She was so shocked by his condition that she insisted the GP was called and he was then rushed to hospital the following day. He was sent in just a t-shirt and an incontinence pad – where is the dignity in that? The home have continuously lied about the facts and events that have occurred with his care verbally and in their reports. The managers and senior managers appear to have no empathy – the main requirement you would expect from those working in this field. It is my honest opinion that this home should be renamed Little Hell to better reflect the level of service the residents and their families should expect to receive. I have been informed that this home has been under investigation from both Social Services and Safe Guarding so that says it all.

Brunelcare's Little Heath Care Home
This care home is a well organised care home following all the rules and regulations with out any compromise. The staffs over there are well experienced and the way they deal with the residents are highly appreciable. Hospitality is first class and caring for the residents is indescribable. Equipments and machines which they using in this care home is new and with all new technologies. I love this care home because once we visit there we will feel to go there again and again.
