I don’t normally do this but it does get under my skin a biggish women on the till here let’s say attitude love,ee all time picked a tele was 10 pound had a sign by it dvd as it had a dvd built in nothing great but 10 pound for one my children ideal I got mouthful where the scan code been ripped off looking at me like I done it o said there’s a sign by it at take it off the shelf she told me 3 times they were shutting 10min then 5 mins in the end she sort of hatched off with it so I said I’ll leave it you don’t want well your saying I can’t as no scan code and the sign was only dvd player which was with the tele so I said leave it she carried on lovee so I said leave it lovee she then said we shutting got get some rest in for it all sudden then dumps it on a chair said 20quis u can have it said no chance was 10 won’t use this dump with attitude staff charity shop not curry’s lovee

We bought a sofa at the shop. The man asked if we had a sofa that we wanted them to take away. We said yes that would be great, and was the dealbreaker as we didn't want to pay a further £35 to Stoke Council. He checked we had a fire label, which we did. The collectors came to take it and left the old one. On ringing the store to ask them to come back, we were told in a really patronising way that they would never have agreed to taking an old sofa and there was nothing they could do. Charity or not, a deal is a deal, and if you make a mistake you own up to it and do the right thing. They didn't and as such will lose a lot more money than if they'd just shown some decent customer service rather than accuse us of lying, and even of shouting at one point (I wasn't, I just I came up with a point that she couldn't answer). Never going there again.

I have donated items in the past and I can't fault their collection service, however I'm struggling to see how they sell much because I have messaged them and tried to call and either get no answer or they cut me off, how can I bid on Ebay for a mobility Scooter if I can't get there easily and need to ask an important question?

Went to have a sofa from there fell in love with it and the cost was really good but when it come to them drop it me come up with everything under the sun that it wouldn't fit nt even try didn't ways just said wouldn't fit and went down to get full refund for everything and wouldn't give me the money bk for them to drop it off so lost out on £25 now for them nt even trying to get it flew my door then flew to my living room. So nt a happy customer. Won't be going there anything for anything else. The driver tells ya go down you get a full refund for everything and ya don't when ya go down to store to get it bk. Only give me the money bk for the sofa nt for them to drop it me off

Shocking. I was donating a lovely 3 piece suite with no rips or tears, with fire stickers and in really good condition. Because it had a few marks on it due to the sun they wouldn't take it. They are getting something for nothing and selling at extortionate prices. Hang your heads in shame

A BIT HIGHERI often visit british heart foundation to just to have a look. First, I need to tell that they have just furniture and electronics. So, I bought a microwave 6 months ago and It still works very well. I have no compliants.But some appliances and furniture seems to be bit higher price than usual. My point of view can be wrong but obviously it depends on every pocket.

Disappointing. Arranged two collections for the same three piece suite. Didn't turn up for either. The first time I was told they had failed to give the driver the paperwork. My mother had kindly agreed to be at my place all day and wasted a 20 mile round trip to do so.Contacted BHF Stoke to explain I'd been let down. Rearranged collection for the Friday of the same week and was told, upon asking, that they'd definitely turn up in the morning and not the afternoon. Suited me well, as I informed them I'd be out in the afternoon. On the Friday I received a call at 1pm saying they wouldn't be able to make it in time.Summary: disorganised, inadequate service. People like me kindly pay your wages. I'll take my stuff to somewhere that respects its customers as it should.

It does not deserve a one star .(-0 ⭐️ )This is a BIG scarm. Everyone who knows me already know about this stoke on Trent they called charity .Especially the person they put there as manager , you people need to get review her position and put a real camera in there that work , as none of your camera work to proof anything that happened there .The person that have this charity need to see how your employees treat customers .Big discrimination and not respect . I will keep telling everyone I know what happened to me and help them to write down reviews .
