Loch Ness Country House Hotel

Beautiful building. Very formal atmosphere (I personally prefer a bit more informal - I feel very out of place in such delicate surroundings) but staff made us feel welcome. Spacious rooms, which was ideal for us as we were traveling with a one-year-old who got to crawl around and lose some energy. Best beds we’ve had so far. Downside was that our room was very (!) noisy at night. Didn’t have anything to do with the baby: think it was the airconditioning system on the roof (?) that was inconsistently making noise. Lots of it. Sounded like there was a roof burner up there all night. No such sounds during the day.

Beautiful house with a very comfortable bedroom and leisure room. Employees are polite and pleasant. It had fewer amenities in the room than expected for the price, but nothing that had impacted our stay.

Beautiful outside place. Service was really helpful. Peacefully place.Really old and wreck rooms.Doors barely close. No plugs, water leaking. And a 100 year old bed.

Exceptional staff and outstanding service from the minute we booked our wedding venue back in 2022 to the 2 days spend celebrating our wedding the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly. The food was amazing and everyone raved about the portion sizes and the quality of the meal . We can't thank the wedding coordinator chloe and the master of ceremony enough for making our day so special and making sure our guests were all happy throughout our very special day. I was a very fussy bride but nothing was ever an issue and Chloe always made sure my visions for our day came true.A great experience that we and our guests will always remember and be thankful for the team at Lochness for making this day so special.

This was our favorite place that we stayed while on holiday in Scotland. Friendly and helpful staff, including Harris the dog, who greeted us when we arrived. Rather than venturing into town for the evening, we chose to sit in one of their lovely sitting areas by the fire and have a cheese plate and a couple glasses of wine. Our room was large with big windows and a nice view of the grounds, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Hot breakfast was also very nice. We didn't want to leave.

This place is incredibly beautiful. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are gorgeous. But the bathroom n shower, WOW. If you visit Loch Ness, stay here. You won't be disappointed. The food is great too!

Our room was to say the least underwhelming. The restaurant menu is limited. Some of the staff were incredibly kind. The hot water in our shower would last all of 2 minutes and then stop all together, we called about this on 4 separate occasions. After 15 minutes or so we would get another 2 minutes of hot water and it would stop again. The fridge was broken. Despite some service recovery by sending up some cakes, this is still one of the worst hotel experiences I have had and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was simply amazing, everything was perfect. The rooms were very cozy , the staff very friendly and the food was extraordinary. Definitely recommended it.

Beautiful stay. Lovely staff. Picturesque gardens. Great rooms. Very comfortable beds, clean. Scrumptious dinner and breakfast. Big well done to Darren and John.
