My daughter Rachel celebrated her birthday here and for the first time, she got to ride a horse. Rachel absolutely loved it, She couldn't wait to tell us all about her pony trek. Also everyone that came to Rachel's party commented on how nice the place was. Me, I cannot believe how nice it was there, the views were absolutely stunning, the wood cabins were amazing and the owners and workers were really professional and very friendly. I am definitely thinking about booking a cabin to stay on weekends. The peace and quiet will be great. Thank you for a lovely time :)

Lovely place to stay.Very interesting owner who has a love for old Rushton of Lincoln bits and pieces.Really nice cabins in a great location.If you like horses or pony trekking this is your kind of getaway.Very nice.

Wakeing up to a awesome view, is worth every dime. Log cabin is spacious. Quite , woke up with not a worry in the world. Up in the mountains, loads to do around. If you want to rest and relax, this a good spot.

We recently had a family reunion at Long Mountain cabins (four cabins together). The accommodation was great. It was very well equipped and very comfortable. It is a lovely part of the country. The staff were very helpful. My niece enjoyed her ride with the ponies. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Cabins are a little tired, could do with a bit of updating and tlc. The setting is stunning, fabulous views and very peaceful but 4 miles of single track road to get to there and nothing within walking distance, so bare that in mind. Dog friendly which is a real bonus. Horse riding available which is obviously a big draw. Shrewsbury well worth a visit, Welshpool pleasant enough. Plenty of dog friendly pubs near by, Yockleton Arms the pick.

The views are breathtaking. Very private and quiet location, lovely cabin with everything you need, only downside, there were a lot of flies in the cabin

Absolutely loved the experience, never been too somewhere so peaceful and relaxing before. Beautiful cabins and surrounded by stunning scenery. If you love horses you'll especially enjoy it, and anyone will enjoy the horse riding. The staff were also lovely and helpful really made the place!

Had a lovely two nights stay with family of five. The scenery was breathtaking with horses and ponies roaming around freely. The cabin was spacious and reasonably clean. The sofas, curtains and carpet have seen better days and needs updating.The drive through the single track roads in the mountainous terrain was exhilarating - keeps you on the edge of your seat!The communication was fantastic without actually meeting anyone face to face. I had booked the wrong dates by mistake and a text message was all it required to rectify the issue.All in all - had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend a visit.

Terrible, the horses are badly taken care of (not being clipped, no having their own stalls and having to stand in the boiling or freezing weather, no shoes) the leaders were also vaping and swearing. The stables is absolutely filthy, rubbish everywhere. horses are dirty and badly treated. These people should not own horses and their prices should be free not 35 for one hour! Especially at their state of stables, horses and leaders. Should not have the opportunity to own horses
