Ampthill vets have truly been amazing. I could not recommend them enough. Our lovely mog had some health issues and although is sadly no longer with us, Ampthill vets could not have done more, whenever we had questions or worries Sarah and the team were always happy to help and offer advice. When the time came to say goodbye everyone at Ampthill vets were very supportive, we weren’t rushed to make any decision and offered all the appropriate options and then given time to talk it though.I wouldn’t hesitate to take any future pets there.

Such lovely vet nurses and vets at this practice. Really friendly. accommodating and professional.. I was seen promptly following a dog incident, they cleaned my pup up and put him at ease. Would definitely recommend this practice.

I recently moved over from the U.S. with my wife, daughter, and 2 large Mastiffs (Millie and Oakley.) After arriving, I wanted to find a Vet to get them registered at for any event that would require healthcare. I tried other vets in the area but felt that the care was subpar compared to what we had in the U.S.Oakley started to develop a swollen front leg and I started checking around for Vets in the area that I hadn’t already tried. I was able to get in touch with Ampthill Vets. I’m so glad we did. The staff are professional and compassionate. They are knowledgeable and very fair on pricing.Unfortunately, it was discovered that Oakley had developed a very aggressive form of bone cancer and her time to go had come so quickly after the diagnosis. It was a very hard time for our family but was made much easier thanks to everyone at Ampthill Vets. I can’t thank them all enough for how well they treated Oakley and our family. I highly recommend Ampthill Vets because I can say confidently they are the best Veterinary clinic I have ever taken any animal too.We will forever cherish our moments as a family with Oakley.

Absolutely fantastic service. This is a happy calm place to take my dog without her having the anxieties of a large packed waiting room. A guinea pig on one side, a cat on the other and someone tripping over her bad leg made it difficult to have her treated at her previous multi-practice vet service. She just became too distracted and 'hyper'.Now at Ampthill Veterinary Centre my dog is the focus of all attention from the nurses to reception staff. The Vet was utterly fantastic and gave me lots of information on how to improve my dogs conditions. Once my dog was assessed, I was able to phone the vet and ask relevant questions without having to make another appointment. They also arranged for a veterinary surgeon to check my dogs X-rays and give an opinion - without charge!!!I am incredibly impressed by this new veterinary practice and am happy to recommend them.

How refreshing to find a fabulous, independant and soley welfare minded vet practice in Bedfordshire. Really impressed with this practice and everyone within it from reception through to the hospital team. As a massive added bonus, these guys run their own out of hours. As a rescue we are very pleased to have found Amphtill vets and they are now on our special list for exceptional service and care :) Thank you team xx

Absolutely the best vets locally, the whole team are so welcoming and friendly.Both our dogs were previously under a different vets within the local area, but there is no comparison to the care our dogs have received since switching to Ampthill Veterinary Centre.We love that the surgery has a much more family and personal feel to it, and we wouldn’t take our animals anywhere else.Thank you for all your help and support, and a special thank you to both Sarah and May, they’re both amazing and super knowledgable vets.

Amazing care shown to my Westie , who had to have a lot of teeth removed. Changed vets to here recently, best decision after 10 years. Highly recommend the personal service and welcoming staff. Thank you for taking such good care of her.

The team here are truly excellent. Always helpful, never feel rushed and always listened too. My dog loves going here so much he pretty much knocks the door down to get in.
