Newbank Garden Centre - Radcliffe Store

Called in yesterday for a coffee ,that and the scone fine ,BUT the waitress obviously didn’t want to be there very bad attitude shown to a table and said to her that I already know what I want ,completely blanked me and walked away . After ten minutes got up and found her and her colleagues in deep conversation at the till , no doubt discussing the economic crisis,asked could I have some service. Eventually came ,face like thunder,and took my order ,got my order but served with one hell of a lot of attitude ,obviously not pleased because she had to do her job and disturbed from her natter with her friends . Will not be calling for a coffee again ,obviously she want be bothered as will collect her wages what ever , asked my self surely lack of supervision and reflects on bad management .

Enjoyed a great afternoon with my Granddaughter where we were choosing and purchasing her Christmas forever Water globe. Would totally go in plenty of time if you want to wait for a table to grab a drink. Some people were turned away or had a long wait. Sadly had to feed her on the shop floor and the baby changing room is a little chilly for tiny noses.

Good variety of products indoor and outdoor and always well presented. Prices not jaw dropping but as is usual with any garden centre some items can be found cheaper with not too much effort. Christmas range available now (October) and looks like it's still growing.

Café excellent, gorgeous food and lots of choices savoury and sweet. Flowers and plants are stunning! Beautiful colours and a large selection. Inside, the household items are totally different to other stores. All the same colours together, everything you need to dress your home. Finally, women's clothing and accessories, beautifully shown, all in the same colour sections. Alongside birthday cards, candles and smellies for the home and bathroom - everything you want for gifts and treats.

A very well stocked garden centre with lots of extras including garden furniture and lots of household fancy goods too,all at competitive prices. They also sell a good range of womens clothes,the only disadvantage here is that there are no fitting rooms. There is also a nice,friendly cafe with a good choice of foods available.

Loved it. Use to go a lot before we moved to Spain .so been away 22yrs now back and went to visit still fantastic. Couldn't get into cafe very busy. Well recommended.

Great cafe, lovely garden centre and amazing Christmas displays. The cafe is quite compact and often busy but happy to accommodate access requests where possible.Went to see Father Christmas at the grotto on multiple recommendations from friends. We were not disappointed, he was wonderful.

Lovely Christmas decorations and fancy goods and gifts this year , one of our favourite garden centres.Not really happy with a young boy showing us to our table in the cafe and inputting details in the card machine at the till ( he was about 10 ??)

Absolutely shocking service in the “bistro”. Staff looked absolutely miserable and tried their best to speak the absolute minimum to you. No communication between staff, one lady took our food order and another came back with our drinks and said “I see you’ve already ordered food” yet when I enquired about where our food was it turns out the order hadn’t been put in to the kitchen!! No apology whatsoever, we waited 45 minutes for our food. When I asked a waitress for a glass of water and pointed out I had already asked twice her response was to turn round to other customers and say “charming” and roll her eyes at me…. It’s really not that hard to get a glass of water. The place needs a good clean, we were sat in a corner which clearly no one had ever swept as there was dust and all sorts all over the floor. Terrible dining experience.
