Visited this pub for years as a youth. Not been back for ages, The place has been closed for years. Went for Sunday lunch with family and loved it. Choice was great quality top draw all freshly cooked and mega tasty. Total revamping of the old place. Nothing wrong with the location just a pub just off the A5. Good value quality nosh!

We have been in Kilsby for a short holiday and would highly recommend the George as their food is responsible priced and exceptional in taste and appearance. The service from the staff was great especially Harry. Dexter our dog also enjoyed the experience and we would definitely visit again when in the area. The sticky toffee pudding a was yummy!!

A couple of Aussies, who stubbled across The George on our way back to our nearby accommodation. Warm, friendly greeting on arrival. All staff lovely and professional; clearly take pride in their establishment. Food was delicious! Highly recommend.

BEST SUNDAY ROAST I'VE HAD IN YEARS!My wife and I went for a Sunday meal and fancied a roast after looking at the menu.We both went for the beef.....my days The George at Killsby did not disappoint! The beef was cooked pefectly and was tender, juicy and very flavoursome. The accompanying vegetables, potatoes and red cabbage were delicious!10/10!The staff are very friendly! Atmosphere is great!

Come for lunch and it was absolutely stunning, the food was delicious. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back as the location to the office in Crick is perfect. The only problem was it was cold in there.

Went there with family for Sunday lunch the other weekend for a nice birthday lunch. Staff are friendly and welcoming they pass the time of day - they seem relaxed despite having all the tables full.Starters (lamb chops, calamari) were delicious with nice sauces and salad accompaniments. The Sunday roast is amazing! Between our group we had the roast beef, pork and chicken roasts... each dish was cooked brilliantly with lots of vegetables - the cauliflower cheese side is also well worth adding as well ;)We shared some deserts between us (getting rather full at this point!) and they were also well-presented.Lavazza coffee also gets my vote.Yes, it's on the more expensive side, but it lives up to it and I want to go back there when it's my birthday!

We came here for a Sunday roastIt was absolutely delicious!! One of the best we have had...well seasoned and plentiful, everything tasted good. The veg options were very nice. Cauliflower cheese is extra but that seems pretty standard now.Parking here is an absolute pain in the bum so be prepared to park around the cornerToilets have baby change in themThe dining room is big and feels a bit sparse but great with buggyService was greatDesserts were also very nice and not badly priced

Had a meal at the George on Saturday night and it’s was fantastic! Food was fantastic and the service was great! We went at 6 o’clock which I believe is the first sitting and it was lovely and quiet but did fill up throughout the evening. Would highly recommend if you are in the area! Thanks for a great evening.

Booked to go here yesterday as a group of 6 when I booked I said I wanted the table for 5-6 hours. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes before even being asked if I wanted a drink. When we were seated the waitress told us we could have our table until 6.30pm which was perfect. We finished our food around 4.45pm and the (who I think was the manager) took our plates and asked if we wanted puddings (we hadn’t even had chance to look at the menu) we said we would have a look but possibly just more drinks. He said we need the table so we need you to move to the outside area (not the pretty area because that’s where we were it was in the back garden) We was not prepared to sit in the cold when we were told that the table was ours until 6:30!We got moved inside where we did then order desserts these took nearly an hour to come so they were told to cancel them there’s no way it takes that long to put some cake on a plate especially when it wasn’t even busy!I went back to check on the table we were asked to move from at 5:30 and then again at 6:30 and there was no one sat at our table. There was also plenty of empty tables. Food is nice but over priced. The only good thing about this place is the lovely waitress that helped us. Our bill was over £200 and would of been a lot more if we had of been left where we was and were happy having a good time the drinks were flowing but after the rudeness and being made to move for no reason annoyed us all and we thought forget we’re not spending anymore money in here!!
