Barlborough Hospital and Staff can be summed up in one word - AMAZING! Full replacement of my left hip took four weeks and three days from consultation to operation. Surgeon and associated staff were brilliant along with all my nurses and ancillary staff. Food was also great as an added bonus.Thank you Barlborough.

I’ve never left a review in my life but feel it essential to give credit to the outstanding service & care I have received from your practice. Today I have had an MRI scan which was challenging for me as a claustrophobic but the guys who did the scan were absolutely fantastic. They put me at ease instantly & made it possible for me to go through with the scan. I can’t praise enough the care I have received from yourselves. The receptionists, the doctor, the efficiency in getting me seen promptly, it’s all been 10/10. Thankyou.

Can’t praise them enough. Everyone from my Surgeon right through to the lady on reception looked after me. The Hospital itself is reassuringly modern and very clean. I have no problem recommending this Hospital to anyone and would use them again if I need to in the future.

09.06.23 Hip replacement day.The staff were all extremely attentive & provided such a high standard of care....nothing was too much trouble & I felt in safe hands throughout the whole experience.6weeks on & I have just driven my car for the first time since my operation, having seen my physio and consultant for 6week check two days ago who gave me every confidence that I was healing well & exactly where I should be.Barlborough would be my first choice for any future medical treatment, absolutely no doubt, delivering excellent health care that I would recommend to anyone.Much appreciation from one happy bionic" lady who can now continue cycling for a few more years !"

Had an Inguinal hernia repair at Barlborough hospital last Wednesday 18 October. Highly impressed with the treatment and care I received. Very professional and thorough but still able to be very friendly and reassuring. I’d like to thank everyone involved but especially the two lovely ladies in the day ward, Laura and Janet. The surgeon, Mr Mancas and his theatre team were outstanding. Thank you to all.

In Barlborough hospital at min ,had a hip replacement yesterday, had me up 3 hours after getting opp,All the staff are fantastic,couldn't do enough for you , would HIGHLY recommend this hospital.

On the 28/06/2023 I went to balborough hospital for a total hip replacement from the moment I had my consultation right through to leaving on the same day every member of staff went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant and positive experience. Nothing was to much trouble and the time they spent explaining things and answering my questions made me feel totally at ease. I also had an evening meal which was very tasty and nice so a massive thank you to an amazing team at this 1st class hospital

I had knee replacement surgery at Barlborough; highly recommend this hospital. I wasn’t waiting long before my first consultation, got a very good explanation of why I was having the problems I was and what procedure was needed. On the day, impressed by the hygiene, staff were friendly and care was excellent. I was quite scared about the op but all was good on the day. After the op, care was excellent and staff were lovely. I came home same day and my recovery has been really good. Post op support from pharmacy and physio has been excellent - I had a bad reaction to one of the drugs and pharmacy got back to me and had checked all my bloods etc before advising. Physio has been very supportive.

I decided to use Barlborough Hospital for a total hip replacement after my mum had a very positive experience when she had her knee replaced.The consultation was a very reasonable price, very no nonsense"

I have recently had knee surgery. The staff were excellent very attentive, they worked as a team, all staff were personable warm and very caring.Thank you so much for getting me through the surgery and discharge home.Highly recommended this hospital and the superb team.
