Lovely country pub serving great food & drink. Staff friendly & attentive, they even kept my chips hot while I went to get my wife from Lyminge (she summoned me half way through my lunch). All the food was or looked delicious, menu offers plenty of alternatives to the usual pub food. Food availability varies by time/day so suggest you call ahead to check. I got lucky just turned up.

Amazing Sunday lunch here today , a large group of us straight from wreath making . Looked after by Helen and the girls. Recommend the salmon rice bowl with teriyaki sauce. And the chicken was delicious.

Sunday roast shredded lamb cooked spot on with a four different vegetables and roast potatoes. A very nice village pub atmosphere with helpful staff that made us all welcome. The dog even got his own chair. Many thanks.

Excellent Sunday lunch, all our plates were clean. Roast lamb and roast pork was delicious. Desserts were good too. Had to go to the bar on one occasion to get drinks during the meal but would certainly back

Very good Sunday lunch with family. Good selection on menu Several good Ales on tap and wide variety of spirits. The food was beautifully presented. On the more expensive side for a Sunday roast but surrounding and staff made up for it. Very Dog friendly all areas Recommended.

A beautiful warm comforting pub. Fires, settees, perfect setting. Food was excellent ... Belly of pork. Best food out for a long long time. Good selection of ales too. Dog friendly.

My brother and I went in for lunch today and I can say that it was the tastiest food we've had in a very long time. Well priced for the quality of food we recieved. The ladies who were working today were so lovely and welcoming. The decor is beautiful. To top it off we had a wonderful welcome from a beautiful little pooch! So glad we came across this gem. Will definitely be returning!
