Joe Kipling has done an absolutely fantastic job of repointing my 1860s brick house in lime mortar. He is a highly skilled tradesman who really knows what he is doing. Joe has an eye for detail and took great care in restoring the brickwork, pointing and stone. He was great at keeping in touch prior to starting and throughout the work. Repointing is a messy job, but Joe took care to minimise any dust or disruption, and despite some bad weather he completed the job in the estimated time. If you need someone who understands traditional lime repointing, or stone restoration, and you want someone who is very straightforward to deal with, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joe!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!I can honestly say Joe Kipling is the best trades person I have ever dealt with. He is honest, thorough, conscientious and does not leave anything to chance. His workmanship is superb. I feel very lucky that I managed to find and secure Joe to repair my iron stone wall. It is a pice of art.

Joe Kipling has just completed the total re pointing of our Grade 2 Listed Farmhouse . This included replacing nearly 300 bricks that he sourced specifically to match the brick size as the original bricks were much narrower than common day. The job was a 3 month project using specialised lime mortar and the care and attention Joe spent was exemplary.He is a specialist in a very niche field and I highly recommend his work .

Joe and his team have recently re-pointed one of our chimneys in lime mortar and we are really pleased with the result. From start to finish he has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. From the start to finish we have been very happy that Joe took on the work of Pointing our house in Lime mortar. He came in the month to start the work just as he said he would. He kept us informed every step of the way of what he had done and if we were satisfied with the result. He advised us when choosing to have bricks removed and what bricks that could be left.
