I found the the Gentleman very professional and explained in detail what had to be done to my carHandset he checked the PC BOARD AND TOLD ME IT WAS GIVING OUT A STRONG SIGNAL AND REPLACED THE BATERYWHICH NOW LOCKS AND UNLOCKS MY CAR, .he was very quick , I will be recommending Timpson to my friends.

Very rude…Paid £85 for a lifetime battery to be put in my watch, just came back from the store after being accused of being a fraudster, when I purchased the battery they didn’t put the serial number on the receipt.So the assistant has just accused me of being a fraud he also refused to correct their error by putting the serial number on the receipt.Feel very insulated.

I needed a number of keys cut for a new lock I bought. Connor (1167) was really helpful taking care of everything: opening the packaging to get the original key, using proper Yale key blanks, testing each cut key in the lock, all while I was shopping at Sainsburys next door. (1167)I was in the kiln lane Timpsons on 4/11/23. Our remote car key casing had worn away and it was not responding to lock the car. Dan served us and suggested putting new pads on the mother board. It was a bit more fiddly than he had expected or was usual but he persevered saving us money for a complete new unbranded remote key. We were very thankful for his efforts, time and service. Thank you Dan.

I went to the shop on Sunday 24th September at 1:05am and there was a sign that the assistant was on lunch and would be back at 1:30, which was fine as I understand that people need to have their lunch break. I couldn’t stay and went off to do their errands and went back at 3:20 and the service received was terrible!As I was outside there were two customers inside and the assistant said out loud, “it’s always the end of the day that everyone shows up!” Well you are open for another 40 minutes so I don’t understand the problem here….When it came to serving me, I asked for a key to be cut, he asked me what type of key it was and I explained that it was a key for a mailbox, which he said that he might not be able to do but will look for me. As he was looking, he made another comment, “you must of thought, I’d come to get this done at the end of the day and get the most difficult key cut” I could not believe what I was hearing from the assistant as being in retail for 20 years, I would never speak to a customer like this!The assistant needs complete retraining in customer service, or probably needs to find a career that is not customer facing if he thinks that this was acceptable!
