Hot food counter is never on anymore early mornings as it use to be on. Stock for juice is shocking also, why can’t they do it at night time when the shop is quiet.

The manager is the problem. Should work in an industry where he doesn't gave to deal with people.

First time using delivery service this morning for my mum. Excellent service ,was able to get a slot between 12pm - 2pm, arrived just before 12.30pm. Driver rang with update also. Just brilliant

Rude and not efficiency staff.

I live in the area and the shop alarm triggered multiple times for a couple of nights, making it hard for some of my neighbours and I to sleep. I went in to speak to the manager (male, with a beard), and he was unaware this had been happening. He sorted the issue really quickly, which I thought was great as I imagine some of the alarm controls/maintenance are outsourced. Hasn't been an issue since.

Shopped here for quite a few years but they have taken the opportunity amidst cost of living crisis to really hike up their prices. A 100 yard walk to Iceland gets you more choice and same products at a third of the cost.

Great service and wonderful customer care if you have to call the shop. The delivery driver was absolutely wonderful. Thank you :)

Don't order online, they are always missing items and you have to wait ages for Uber to refund you.

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to write this review. I have been shopping in StJohn’s Road Coop for years and I don’t complain much but what I am about to say is not the first instance, however, today I just couldn’t stand this anymore. I have witnessed a disgusting attitude from a shop assistant - Michelle. She was serving a woman I believe in her 30s dark-skinned. The woman asked for tobacco products and Michelle couldn’t help but to GROWL at the woman and started commenting how the woman shouldn’t drink and smoke just like she doesn’t.I understand people have their own opinions about drinking and smoking however Michelle is not there to comment on people’s choices. She is there to attend to the customer and serve. Not to mention everyone else in the queue witnessed this and listened to it. The woman must’ve felt embarrassed that she has to explain herself to a SHOP ASSISTANT. I have heard other customers comment “her attitude is out of order” and I do agreewith this.I am hoping the store manager willtake this review seriously and have a much needed serious conversation about this with Michelle because this is outrageous. As mentioned above this is not the first instance. In any other customer-based job this would be disciplinary. THIS IS DISGUSTING.

Only go in if you want to be harassed by charity muggers who stand in the tiny entrance/exit.
