Today was our first visit to the hotel. We booked the family spa visit. On the assumption if all went well we would be booking my mothers 70th birthday at the spa with an evening meal.Unfortunately though the hotel really lived up to its 3 star rating. The food ordered on the terrace came out separately and what must have been a 5 minute wait between the children’s cold food arriving. My sandwich was dry which wasn’t great. However to our amazement the tip of the iceberg was a father taking his child walking naked across the lawn for all to see and then to have a wee in the bushes next to the terrace in front of everyone. The toilet is only a 50 yard walk.Although this isn’t the hotels thought, my wife let the staff know as we thought this was disgusting and they did absolutely nothing about it.The surroundings and the hotel itself is lovely. But the overall feeling is a little laid back for a Spa Hotel. For the money spent we would say spend a little more and go to one of the other local hotels.Unfortunately you won’t be seeing us anytime soon.

Lovely small, friendly place. All staff have been INCREDIBLY kind and friendly towards our 5 yr old boy and 2.5 yr old girl. The kids club is excellant, the family centered activities are very considerate and the food and drinks options for all are balanced and tasty!

We went for the Adult Twilight Spa...not relaxing at all. We felt ripped off. Kids having water fights, couldn't even relax having my birthday treatments because of the kids screaming in the corridors. Steam room and water spa is next to pool used by community and kids, so they were splashing all the guests. Feel like they should warn you when booking the packages as it's mis-selling it. You can be kid friendly but have an adult cut off time it's not hard - for some reason this place doesn't. The adult only area is a small patio space where the kids run through to get to the pool as a short cut. Staff were miserable and telling us about why they are leaving and some had given notice. The shower areas have water damage and some bits were dirty. We should have checked the reviews but didn't. PLATTER is also not good value for money. Feels like it may have been really good at some point but the place has let itself go a little.

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at New Park Manor.Positives:The staff are exceptional. Everyone of them greeted you when passing, and the dining room staff were super friendly and accomodating to us and our daughter. Cannot praise them enough. The food is amazing. The range of food available for breakfast was incredible, and for dinner the choices were decent and the portion sizes were huge! We had £28 pp included in our package but didnt mind adding a little extra to get an extra course. A nice touch is all kids food was free and our daughter had smaller plates adults food like curry for no extra. Makes a nice change from the kids menu being nuggets and chips. The Spa was really nice and just what we needed, and my wife had 2 good treatments in there plus we used the pool with our daughter. The extras that are provided like the milk and cookies station, the snug bits with kids books, and the little touches like being able to order a warm milk to be brought to the room at bedtime were really really well received. The could be slightly better:The room was a little bit tired, the table had quite a few marks as did the carpet. That beind said it was all very clean, and there were lots of nice things in there like the coffee pod machine, and the luxury toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom had obviously been redone and was very nice. No major issues at all just maybe needs a few quid spending to bring the room up to scratch. The outside park was also very tired. The swings were all lopsided and looked a bit sad! Just needed a bit of a revamp. That being said, our two year old still found enough to do, however older kids might be a bit unimpressed! There was also a broken giant connect 4 that looked a bit poor. Just needs a bit of a refresh outside. The bad:There is a 12.5% service charge that is automatically added to all of your bills for food and drink. I will point out this is clearly advertised as discrecionary, however i do not feel there is any need for this in a hotel and you are made to feel awkward for asking them to take it off, especially when the staff are so good. A fair point would be that if the staff are good you should give a tip, however i dont think in a hotel that isnt cheap anyway you should be assumed that you will add that much. If you stay in a luxury hotel it is reasonable to assume that a service will be reflected in the standard pricing. All in all we had a fantastic time and i would definately recommend.

I went for a spa morning with my mum and sister. It was SO lovely and I’m fussy. The attention the team gave their area, all guests was exceptional.Lovely vibe the pools were clean and empty, so many water experiences to choose from. The massage I had with Ellie was lovely, professional and talented therapist. The changing facilities clean, simple and easy to use the lockersThe lunch was delicious I had the Caesar salad and it was a good portion.Every team member we engaged with was a joy.New Park your spa and the team in it are a gem to have excellence in customer service and treatments at an affordable rate is rare! Thanks for giving us a lovely morning.I will return and I will recommend

Came here for a spa day with my partner. When we arrived we were offered tea & coffee whilst we filled out the paperwork.Enjoyed the amenities and the treatment was amazing. I almost fell asleep!Great little adult terrace to enjoy a drink in the sunshine, and the afternoon tea was delicious. The pool area does allow kids and I imagine over school holidays this may put some people off. Overall I really enjoyed it.

We usually go to Carey’s Manor for our spa days however wanted to try something new and a little less pricier.Wow.. So Impressed, we had a half day with lunch and one treatment, my facial was superb and the lady was so friendly she gave me some great advice for my sons skin too who suffers with excema, I didn’t catch her name sally but she was a foreign lady and I attended on the 12/09.The facilities are great, it was so quiet there and so relaxing I nearly fell asleep, fab hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool and hydro pools also. Lunch was plentiful and of great quality, we paid £70.00 per person, worth every penny. . We look forward to coming again next year!

Came for a spa afternoon with my girlfriends and had a mixed experience.Firstly, I want to say thank you to Chris and Beth who made our experience the best it could be. They worked tirelessly and were very accomodating and professional.Unfortunately, this was not a true spa experience. The weather was very sunny so the outdoor pool was filled with hotel guests and children, with no space for spa guests. There were only a few loungers and no parasols to protect from the sun. The indoor pool was large but far too hot for the day, and had children running through. The changing rooms had towels strewn across the room, and there were sign saying there was a towel shortage"

5 star because the hotels culture is really go the extra mile. Some of the staff seem infinitely patient, which is really appreciated with so many toddlers and newborns around! The rooms and some facilities were worn in places but this didn’t taint our stay, I hope that they’ll continue to upgrade the place as their family holiday business seems to be doing well. The one thing I’d like them to do is oil the doors closers and handles. The ones on our room were squeaky and could have woken our napping baby.

We stayed in a forest room on the first floor for 2 nights for a family getaway. The sound proofing in the rooms is horrendous. We had people jump up and down in the above room and could hear everything. Also our toilet flush and shower head didn’t work properly. The restaurant for the family is in a conservatory area, separately from the adults. It’s tired looking and the food was bland at best. We had tea stains in our cup and we were told it was ‘like that’. Also it’s ridiculous overpriced especially when you can get a much better meal down the road in Brockenhurst for half the price. We asked for bathrobes which should have been in our room on arrival so we could use the pool and spa, but were told they had supply issues and had none.Overall, there is nothing ‘luxury’ about this luxury chain of hotel. The only positives were the location and service. We most definitely won’t return.
