BTown Floor Sanding (Brighton & Hove)

Ben and his excellent team, sanded, stained, varnished, filled and even replaced floorboards to give our whole house a completely new look. We are so happy with the result. The team worked tirelessly over 5 days. They kept in contact with us when decisions needed to be made and really took care to deliver an excellent final result. Ben and his team sanded and varnished our downstairs living areas and hallway. They were very polite, respectful and Ben took as much time as was needed to make sure everything was done to a high standard as well as being happy to explain all aspects along the way as well as allowing us time to make decisions.He also recommended a finish which was much better than the one we thought we wanted - sample areas were created on the floor so that we could get an idea of the different finishes before making a choice. The team worked hard and were very professional throughout the whole process.As we had chosen a different varnish the price did increase slightly. Ben made an estimate as to what that increase would be which turned out to be slightly less than it actually was. I asked him afterwards about the difference in the price and he refunded it, apologising for any confusion stating that it was an estimate. I thought this was very fair.Overall, I would definitely recommend B-Town as the work was of a high standard and the team were very professional and courteous, trying their best to accommodate our movements to contain disruption. I think the job took longer than they had quoted for but the price did not increase because of that.The only problem is that we really have to look after our floors now as our dog has managed to scratch it already! Top tip: buy a roll of felt adhesive that can be cut to size and adhered to the bottom of all the feet of your furniture, maybe to your dogs paws too :)

Ben and his team did an amazing job - the floorboards were in a terrible state with huge gaps and all sorts of damage to them. In a short time, the Btown team had them looking incredible - it was a real wow moment when we walked in and saw how different they looked. Quick, clean, polite, and amazing value - would 100% recommend.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. In fact I was so pleased I sent pictures to the rest of my street to recommend them!They kept me informed at every step of what they were doing. They were super family friendly, working around the kids after school, which is amazing.The workmanship is fantastic and we are still stunned every time we walk through the front door. They worked so hard and even finished ahead of schedule despite me asking for extra work to be done on the day they turned up!If your floors are in such a state that you think nothing can be done - look no further!

We previously had floor sanded by a builder friend, not a bad job, but the dust! In contrast, Ben and his team have made the parquet floor look fantastic, probably better than when it was laid 100yrs ago and no dust.

I would highly recommend B’town flooring, my initial enquiry was responded to immediately followed by a site visit and a very fair quote. Ben took great care and attention to achieve the exact look and quality I was hoping for. He provided colour samples and was incredibly patient while I deliberated over the options! We had areas of flooring which needed a huge amount of work and both he and Andy did a superb job repairing and replacing floorboards. We had our entire ground floor sanded gaps filled with wood slivers and beautifully finished in a lovely pale coloured lacquer. While the work was taking place they took great care and attention to work around our furniture and the rooms were left spotless of dust. I would not hesitate to use them again, we love our new floor!

We are very happy with our floors now they've been sanded and had two coats of clear hard wearing commercial grade lacquer applied.Floors have been updated to look like new.We would happily recommend BTown Floor Sanding to anyone wishing have the same work done to their flooring.
