Arranged an appointment for a blood test for my son...which they cancelled via text message..gave me no alternative. Needed his bloods checking before a repeat prescription could be issued.I called back..Was told someone would call back.Took 2 days. When they did was told to arrange an appointment at the hospital instead.So now not only got to book an appointment at the hospital and the hassle of getting there..but also gotta wait longer for his prescription to be issued.A doctors centre that cannot take blood tests?

Not sure if I can give zero stars. The problem is, there is no competition so they can be as bad as they want without fear of losing patients. Ditto what everyone else says about the poor service, so many people cannot be wrong, but to add, I called them last week because I was due for my 2nd COVID jab, but hadn't been contacted. I was told it was nothing to do with the surgery and I should contact someone else. Can you tell me who to contact?"

I left this practice 6 years ago, I see it's still shambolic.There's no alternative nearby, unfortunately.Getting passed any receptionist is a trial, but they do take the biscuit, (being polite) at BMC.How many managers does it need?

Have been twice over the last year, once for travel vaccines, when we met the practice nurse who was excellent and very knowledgeable about what we needed. I then had to visit post-travel with an illness I had picked up. Was able to get an appointment the same day with no issues and received sensible advice. Would highly recommend this surgery.

White female doctor attempted to force vaccinations onto my 2 month old son after my partner was adamant he wasn’t having any. We stated clearly that we reserved the right to not have vaccines and yet she carried on. My partner said it was the most horrible appointment she has ever had. She felt as though the Doctor was a car salesman trying to sell her a used car! Absolutely disgusting! We will be changing surgeries immediately!

Trying to access my medical records for proof of Covid injections - discovered that my medical records are wrong !!!??? - they have the wrong product - have me down for Pfiser when I have had Astra ALSO they have me down as having one dose in March when I have actually had two doses - March & May ??Being fair, Spencer has emailed me a print of my injections but he was only able to do this after I told him all the details - ie place, date & batch numbers etc as my records are a joke ( which is quite worrying ? )I am supposed to be going away on Saturday ( it`s Thursday today ) and cannot prove either via my patient access or NHS app an accurate vaccination record - how difficult can it be to update my records ?This country has spent millions on vaccinating the population BUT can`t input the information correctly on a computer ?I was even asked by the surgery if I was sure that the date of birth I gave them was correct ? - it was my birthday when I rang so I was pretty sure it was correct !Come on Guys - get it sorted out - I might even get away & then I can put a positive review on line ( hopefully ? )

Absolutely shocking they are just so lazy always advise to send you to A+E for no reason at all even when at A+E doctors are fuming that the local gp can actually do it no need to waste there time so it just tells you something doesn't it

Absolutely disgusting service.I had an over the phone appointment on the Tuesday absolutely fine, doctor was very nice and understanding wanted to see me next day in person. Well had to cancel due to having a unplanned Covid test, receptionist couldn’t even find my appointment to cancel and ring back when result is negative. Rang back Thursday, the receptionist I spoke to was just awful, such a foul attitude and very rude. Told me to ring back later on evening once she’s spoken to the doctor, I had to push for this as she was just dismissing me. Rang again in evening, told me receptionist to come in next day at 9:50. Great, wonderful... went in for my appointment to be told the appointment is nonexistent!! I had come out of work for this, told to wait twenty minutes to be told he can see me if I wait once he was done on a call which could be a while, had to refuse as I had to go back to work! Had to rearrange appointment again for in two weeks time. Then, I went to the chemist to collect my prescription the doctor had sent over from my telephone appointment, he only sent one half of it, they go hand in hand together! So couldn’t take one without the other, lady at the chemist said he sent it then cancelled it!! Why?!!Never mind the fact at my previous appointment a fe months back The wrong prescription was sent to pharmacy, so rang receptionist and she said and I quote “if that’s what he’s told you to take I suggest you take them” that is so rude and so dangerous!! I couldn’t take them as they were wrong, and two they would of counteracted some other medication I was on. The receptionists need a course on basic manners and how to deal with the public. I’ll be taking this further and speaking to someone in charge regarding the receptionists as I can tell by other reviews it’s a standard practice for them.

How this god awful place is still open is beyond me. Anyone who has an option should AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not a single member of staff is nice or helpful - all are poorly mannered and have not an ounce of concern for anyone they talk to. Not one of the medical staff want to help, going as far as allowing problems to worsen to then send you to the hospital or “deal with it yourself” or “google it” because they can’t do anything (which they clearly can). Going even as far as to tell people to go get something from the pharmacy themselves when it’s a prescribed only item which they know full well! Or to go and order things online at an extortionate price. They forever make mistakes with any tests required, the receptionists want to know your life story before saying you can’t have an appointment full stop. They will completely breach confidentiality and ask you questions in front of other patients... the list goes on. This place needs straight up closing down by CQC. Disgusting.

I'd like to give ZERO STARS if I could.We've been using this surgery for very many years. Sadly, in the last 6 or so years, the standard of care and quality of service have plummeted. My wife had a SERIOUS misdiagnosis from one of the female GPs, who also insinuated my wife was 'time wasting'. Really? Into hospital for emergency surgery not long after. Still time wasting eh? So much for 6 years of training. Practice Manager didn't give a t*ss about it either. Plus failed to send referral letters, failed to carryout callbacks, pretty arrogant demeanour on the phone and in person. Shame you can't change your GP like you can change your bank; this lot would be out of business tomorrow. Wouldn't recommend this place one bit.
