Everest Independent Estate Agents

I’m not too sure how I feel about this estate agent. I telephoned to enquire about a flat and was under the impression someone would be there to show us around. When I arrived there was just a builder/decorator in the property however he said he could answer all our questions so I’m assuming he was also the owner of the property?The property was advertised as unfurnished and the photos were taken of an empty property however when we got there there was a bed/mattress in one of the rooms. There were appliances in the kitchen and the builder said that everything was staying. There was also a strong smell of urine coming from the toilet/bathroom which was so strong the builder closed the door as we came in and we could still smell it in the property.I understand that this is down to whoever was living there but I’d expect the estate agent to at least make sure it was in a suitable condition to be viewed or at least come in person to show the property.Other than that they were friendly over the phone!
