I have difficulty in walking (balance), everywhere we went was relatively flat. Had a wonderful afternoons picnic with grandchildren, family and friends.

Visited Musicom on the Sunday in the rain. What a shame as last year it was a heatwave for this show!!Excellent value for money, tribute acts good and the acoustic tent was a great refuge from the elements. Unfortunately the headline Stones tribute wasn't the best act of the day.Lots of families enjoying time together in the great outdoors. We're a nation of people who have learned to have fun even when it rains. This is a great event and hopefully next year it will be dry and not too hot!!!!

Easy parking, pleasant walk past the Hall and across the recently cut grass down to the waterside and a further walk around the pool. Surprisingly not many people here today, considering the fine sunny weather. Finished off our visit with an ice cream.

Nice park for walking, relaxing and having a tea. You can't visit the hall inside as it is a council building, but tea rooms are opened inside. Private tours only.

I am a frequent visitor to the Coffee Lounge as I live quite locally. Friendly personal service always and the Lounge area itself is airy and spacious. The terrace gardens are well maintained and are always attractive, especially when the Magnolia soulangiana are in full flight around the end of May. The parkland itself doesn't look it's best post-bonfire admittedly, but give it time. The Christmas Craft Fayre, held this weekend, was well worth a visit.(Okay, I'm biased! I used to work as a gardener here until recently. It's a lovely place!)
