We had our garden landscaped and it’s even better that we could have imagined. Brian made an initial visit to scope the project and provided a detailed quotation. After giving the go-ahead Brian and the team arrived as scheduled and worked continuously until the job was done .. We didn’t really know what the garden could look like so I asked Brian to do what he felt was best ..Amazing result !.. I’d recommend Hepburn Landscaping to anyone !..

Brian and his team provided start to finish design, landscaping and construction of our front and back garden space. The advice in how to practically move forward with options was kept simple, adding a much higher quality completion to my wife and I initial plans. Highly recommended for any garden upgrade projects - first class all round delivery. Could not have asked for a better result!

We were badly let down by a local alleged Landscaping company who had us booked in a year previously. I came across Hepburn Landscaping and was blown away by their Website. Brian and the lads came out and spent 5 hard weeks totally transforming our front side and rear gardens from wasteland to absolutely beautiful contemporary gardens ( all Brian's designs I may add!) We are over the moon with the finished results and would highly recommend this Company to anyone! Absolutely worth every penny and courteous and very tidy also! Job started about 2 weeks late because another client asked for more work - so much for the deposit we paid to “secure the booking”.They helpfully accommodated our last-minute change of mind to reduce the size of the pergola – on the upside for them, they got to keep the leftover timber that we had paid for.They supplied and laid the wrong shade of slabs, but it wasn’t a big difference so we let it go.Some small tree stumps that were supposed to be removed by mini digger were actually dug out by one of the workers – quite an effort!They made changes to the agreed plan as they went – where we’d planned a step change in level was done as a slope, and an area that was to be slabbed was partly finished with stones around where a stump wasn’t taken down to ground level.Slabs appeared to be dry laid, instead of wet laid as specified on the quote, and some of the cut edges were a bit rough.We were initially told it was a 1-1.5 week job – it took 4 weeks. There was some bad weather and a supplier delivered some wrong materials, but many days we had no idea if they were going to turn up.Their quote said things would be left tidy each day – our driveway looked like a dump for the duration of the job, including the graphic artwork they left on a soft drink bottle one day – glad we don’t have any small children around!After they had left we discovered that another small tree stump hadn’t been removed, but was cut down to ground level and covered.We also found that a beam on the roof of the pergola was actually sticking out beyond the fence and above a neighbour’s garden.We let them know about the beam that needed cut, and also asked if they could tell us where we could get an additional decking edge strip to cover some uneven ends, and where we could get more of the same slabs, to pave the area they had decided to do with stones.After about 9 months of them saying they would come back to cut the roof beam, we gave up waiting and cut it back ourselves.They seemed very unwilling tell us where we could get the decking edge and the slabs, so we’ve given up on the decking edge, and we’ll have to try to track down the slabs ourselves.

Avoid at all costs. Not even worth the hassle. Garden was done - planters, decking, lights, new slabs etc. the artificial grass was awful, not the quality I had been quoted and paid for. Didn’t get any money back though. The join was noticeably bad. Came back to try and fix it but ended up having to get another company to lift it, sort the groundwork out and lay new artificial grass costing me even more money. The lights installed all stopped working. This was decking lights and feature lights at plants. Had to get an electrician to supply and fit new ones. Also said they hadn’t been wired in safely and he’s not qualified to do them. So again a lot more money. The porcelain slabs then started to subside and move around. I’ve had to have another Company lift the slabs, sort all the groundwork and relay the slabs and put proper grout in them. Again even more money. Have tried time and time again to get Brian to come out and fix these issues. But been fobbed off with excuses time and time. Promised he’ll be out then never get a date. Honestly just look for someone else to do the work. Save yourself any hassle. Happy to give more details to anyone who needs it. Have plenty of info saved as going to solicitors with it all.
