Had the most amazing spa day at the weekend.From the moment we arrived the staff were all super friendly and very efficient.There is load of variety within the facilities, everything was immaculately clean and all in working order.The food was delicious and service was second to none.Finally the spa treatments were very well enjoyed and again the staff were very knowledgeable, experienced, and welcoming.Well done Mottram Hall - highly recommended

Recently had the champagne afternoon tea at Mottram Hall for a friends Birthday - absolutely stunning! The room they do this in has beautiful decor and is overlooking the garden so added to the whole experience. Food was delicious and service was spot on. If you are looking for a 'special' place for afternoon tea, its worth every penny. Thank you to the staff member who looked after us on the day.

Odd experience staying over for a Xmas party. Beautiful building in a stunning location, but the staff were very ignorant and poor in explaining the hotel and the agenda for the evening.Wasn't told anything about the party, where & when it started.Wasn't told what time we had to checkout or how to checkoutWasn't told anything about the breakfast, where and what time it was from & to.The breakfast, anyone could walked in as we Wasn't asked our room number or ID !The cocktail bar also didn't have a barman who cocktail trained!!Ridiculous.All in all not a particularly pleasurable experience for such a high marker venue.

Beautiful Spa. It's worth the surcharge for guests £15 at the time. Staff are great the breakfast was ok. The price of drinks takes the p#@*! Only reason not 5 stars. Noisy if there's a wedding on-especially when the police come to sort the fight out!

Stayed for a work Christmas party.Lovely dining, excellent service for dinner and breakfast, quality food.Hotel room was well stocked, the sky channels did not work on the TV, which disappointed my 11 year old. The room was a bit small for a single, dark as it had no main light and the bathroom was quite small.

Great Hotel and Golf Course, pity about the breakfast.Hotel is really nice and I'm sure anyone staying here will say so.Golf Course is well presented and very nice to play, back nine presents a significantly more difficult challenge than the front nine.Breakfast a little disappointing as the food was only luke warm, plates were cold and any warmth in the food was soon gone so half way through your breakfast it was cold. There was only scrambled eggs in offer, no fried or poached.

This hotel use to be great , but not anymore the staff are rude and not interested in providing any service at all, to start with they sold our room to someone else when we had booked it 4 weeks in advance so had to be given a smaller room that was not suitable. Writing this review at 2.59am as we can’t sleep due to all the noise , parties and continued parties in rooms and reception are not interested. Over £250 for a night is a big rip off considering all this. Will demand a full refund as you can’t charge a premium and allow room parties all night. We Have been a returning customer for over 7 years but now the hotel has gone downhill and they are not interested in any customer service, and they now want £15 each to use the swimming pool . What a joke Real shameIn addition come down to breakfast and the restaurant toilets have not been cleaned from the night before- false nails on the floor, Tissues in the sink. - disgusting! Where is the attention to detail ? If this hotel has a manager then they should be replaced as they are not doing their job.

Lovely location. Good value spa day. Service in restaurant was v slow. Waited 40 minutes for starter ,when it came it was nice but couldn't see how it took so long as it was a cold starter. I was given an old" menu

A friend and I came to Mottram Hall / Champney's for a relaxing spa day and lunch.We had an amazing day from start to finish.Excellent location, really professional and friendly staff.Facilities were immaculate.The massage treatment was amazing.Lunch was superb !Will definitely be coming back again soon and would thoroughly recommend for anyone looking to completely relax and unwind.Thank you Mottram Hall ..

Lovely relaxing twilight Spa. The area was kept clean and tidy.When we arrived one pool was closed but opened after an hour. Lots of space and not too busy.We ate in Carrington Grill. They were good with allergies. The food was beautiful, tasty and was served quickly.
