Iceland Supermarket Byker

First time in the Byker store. Good choice of food and cheaper options

Good selection of food at good prices frozen or fresh

Customers beware. I took my disabled mother there to get some shopping. The car park (unbeknown to me) has recently been sold and is now under private ownership in conjunction with Iceland.I have just received a £100 fine for parking there despite spending over £70 on our 27 minute visit at the store. When I noticed that a parking charge was applicable I paid the parking fee straight away, but still got charged as I had noticed this after the 10 minute grace period (it was when I was leaving I noticed the signs, I had originally thought they said customer parking only)I find it disgusting that Iceland would go into partnership in an arrangement like this. My Mam is a vulnerable lady and like many of Icelands customers cannot afford £100 fines. I'll add the last time we parked here this arrangement was not in place and this is why I didn't notice within the 10 min grace period.Iceland should be ashamed and for all customers who may park there, please be careful not to get penalised here.

good selection of food at reasonable prices. They opened another till when the queue had too many people in it. would recommend and would go again. good free parking available on site as well.

I'm sure i only ordered 3 packs of bacon i ended up with 12 pks.at the price of 27 pound WICH i neary died at the price.

Like Iceland but lost out on £12 off pensioner voucher as didn't realise there was a time limit. So no beef for Sunday lunch

Think the items 3 for so much is a bit much for those that live alone its fab for families

Shop brilliant lovely and clean. Beware of carpark at back thought it belonged to iceland was in 15 mins. Week later got a 100 pound fine. BEWARE
