We visited on a Saturday and it was very busy so glad we booked. The interior and vibe is great, and the food and wine was delicious. The staff could be friendlier, we had a young girl serve us who didn't smile once, she also didn't come to check if our food was okay or if we wanted more drinks, so one round it was! We will come back, but hopefully we get a nicer server!

Just had a wonderful visit to Tillingham. Arrived to be greeted by wonderful scenery despite wind and rain. Lovely greeting at reception. We arrived at lunchtime so ordered a couple of their wonderful wood fired pizzas and red wine. This was followed by an extremely informative wine tour by a fascinating guide. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was insane. All locally produced, cooked beautifully and so tasty. The menu is set with several different courses each of which was explained and we were welcome to ask questions - I have new things to try making at home. We also took the wine flight, again extremely interesting. We stayed the night in their beautiful rooms looking out over the vines. The rooms are stylish, immaculate and comfortable. No Tv which was a tick, would have been nice to have a coffee machine but not the end of the world. The breakfast was locally produced and tasty. Bacon was the best I have tasted. All the staff were so friendly, interesting and helpful. A brilliant experience that was recommended to us and I will definitely pass the recommendation on!

Loved the location and the scenery. Me and my girlfriend did the Wine tour for the day. The facilities and the views were great and a breath of fresh air. The wood fire pizzas were brilliantly done! My one constructive feedback would be that the staff weren’t attentive. For example, at lunch we were never offered a drink or a drinks menu, which is bizarre being at a winery. Additionally, this customer experience could have been better on the tour as well, and maybe been more engaging for the individuals involved. Still leaving with great memories, but just need to scratch up on customer experience and then it’s top notch.

What a beautiful and stunning vinery. We had this location saved to visit. We were very much in need of being fed, proper food, after a long journey and Tillingham not only delivered the delicious pizzas but also stunning wine and service. We had our cocker with us and they were very accommodating. We had looked at staying there but it didn’t work with our plan, however they gave us a private tour of the rooms! 5* service, made us feel so welcome and glad we made the detour to eat here. Will be back when the weather is shinning and to stay aswell.10/10 pizza, my partner couldn’t get over his delicious pizza and neither could I!Thank you for having us.We even took a bottle of wine with us.

What an incredible place that has been built here. Beautiful serene setting, fantastic staff and great selection of wine and pizza. Prices for food were slightly high in my opinion, but the quality was fantastic nonetheless. Shame that there are no local ales.

We had a cracking time at Tillingham this weekend. We came for a day trip to do wine tour and lunch. We were quite lucky and got put into a smaller group for the wine tasting as the main tour was too busy. We had a very lovely guy called Jake looking after us. He talked us through the wines in a really interesting and conversational way. The wines were all delicious / unique and the views around the vineyard are gorgeous. The lunch was very tasty and superb value at £25 for three courses. Loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant too. And service was 10/10 as well. Can’t wait for our next trip as am sure we will be back again!

We had lunch here earlier in the week in the restaurant and had a really lovely afternoon. The staff were super attentive and welcoming. We had a beautiful view over the vineyard, and enjoyed the delicious food. We really liked that the menu was small. The interior of the restaurant is tasteful and clearly very thought through. We hope to go back soon!

An excellent evening meal with paired wines. The unique aspect of this delightful hill top vineyard restaurant are the views back across the valley to Rye. More importantly, all the food served was freshly harvested, seasonally & locally sourced ingredients, enthusiastically served with an interesting back story of who the grower was for each dish paired with an interesting wine. Super cool surroundings great for a chilled evening meal. Definitely going back for more!

This review is for the Restaurant. We have been 3x, 2x to the proper restaurant inside and 1x to the pizza area outdoors. The first time we went with some visiting family from the states and they are not foodies at all, and kind of ruined the tasting menu experience for us even though we really enjoyed it, but we went back with a foodie friend and had a lovely 6 course tasting menu 'garden menu' and that was glorious. I was nervous about the mutton -- but it ended up being my favourite dish, and the dessert was basically a transcendental experience. I'd highly recommend if you've got a good pallet on you and are open to trying things you haven't had before. FOODIES ONLY in the restaurant. However, if you want to bring some non-foodies along for views and wine - the pizza restaurant outside is great for them -- you still get to enjoy to the views and the wine, but without hearing them complain about portion sizes and 'what is x??? Will i like that???' :D + points for having grown up soft drinks (locally made Kombucha etc.)for those of us who would love to have a wine but can't for whatever reasons :(

We had an overnight stay and a meal in the restaurant. The evening service was top notch with excellent staff and locally sourced food etcHowever when we arrived it did look like the outside spaces needed weeding. To be fair they were being weeded the next morning ... However my guess is that this was a few weeks overdue ..The room was sufficient with a great bed ... But again the time for redecorating was probably a year ago and it is starting to look tired in places. The location is superb and it is a wonderful place to relax
