Salters Events
We have used Salters on a number of occassions: from afternoon tea, fine-dining at home, catering for a family event and even our wedding cake. The quality is always excellent and presentation superb. We did the fine dining at home as a treat for my sisters birthday and my family were blown away by the flavours and the complexity of the dishes (which were really easy to put together at home). Robyn and Ian are super responsive and their service (which has included special packaging so that we could transport the fine dining on a long car journey) is impeccable and personal. Could not recommend more highly.

Robyn and Ian catered for our wedding this July and we couldn't recommend them more highly. All of our guests said how delicious the food was and how well fed they were! Which doesn't always happen at weddings. Robyn made a fantastic wedding cake for us, which was three layers of different delicious sponge cakes that tasted incredible. They helped to coordinate the day and looked after everyone so well. We were so grateful for Robyn, Ian and their team's hard work.

We had a fantastic experience with Robyn and Ian - they were very receptive to our ideas about what we wanted and made it all happen absolutely beautifully. Staff and service on the day absolutely couldn't be faulted and we have had so many compliments from our guests about the food. They even jumped in at the last minute to save an emergency wedding-cheese-cake presentation issue which we had completely forgotten to organise in the busy morning of. 100% would absolutely recommend and will be returning for any other events we need to cater in the future!

Such a wonderful caterer. Salters were very flexible in arranging our afternoon tea after a funeral, with exemplary communication. As well as the most delicious sandwiches and cakes, we needed everything to be straightforward and stress-free on the day and that's exactly what it was. I recommend them so highly.

Robyn has made cupcakes for my daughter’s 1st and 2nd birthdays, a beautiful cake and catered for my daughter’s birthday party. The food, cupcakes and cake were all delicious, looked beautiful and were exactly what I had requested. Robyn always responds very promptly and even made cupcakes at very short notice for my daughter’s nursery. I would highly recommend Salter Events and will continue to use their services for future events. Thank you so much!

Salters did a very small private lunch - including for a gluten free friend (who said it was the best gluten free meal she'd ever had) - and it was simply superb. They put together such an interesting menu we could all enjoy. I still dream of the coconut and lime cake.

Robyn Salter catered for a family funeral. She was happy to adjust the menu we chose and add extra pastries. The food was delivered promptly on the day and was beautifully packaged. It was really useful to have a menu and allergy information sheet. There was plenty of food and our guests really enjoyed it. We will not hesitate to ask Robyn to cater for an event again in the future.

From the first conversations with Salters Events on planning my daughter wedding cake we were delighted they could accommodate all her wishes and design. The pricing was great also. Communication was fantastic and the cake was delivered to the venue and constructed. We had quite a stressful moment with the venue not having the tables ready and the lovely Salter team stopped and helped us! It was very much appreciated. The cake looked exactly as we had planned and tasted gorgeous. The whole thing disappeared quickly! Guests were very complimentary and certainly enjoyed eating it. Would highly recommend their service, kindness and delicious cake.

Robyn made us the most wonderful two-tiered wedding cake. Not only was the cake beautiful and delicious, throughout, Robyn was very helpful, responsive and delivered everything on time. She also whipped up some vegan and gluten free cupcakes at relatively short notice. All round brilliant
