So welcomed by the Manageress of the site.The toilets and showers were spotless and checked every couple of hours. We saw her checking on them all the time.Got to know some other caravan and mobile home owners. Lovely and Quuet campsite.Our only bug bear was the price of the pitch for basic services, for £30 per night a wee bit more pricy than other sites with more facilities.We will definetly be back though!

Cot House Caravan Park
Arrived at the Cot house Caravan Park on Monday evening. Had problems with our tent and Sandra very kindly let us borrow one of her 8 man tents. They checked if it was clean before we got in which of course it was. Can’t thank Sandra enough for all her help nothing was a bother. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to family and friends.

Not dog friendly as had ours tethered at back of our caravan for 5 mins while making cup if tea and getting our 2 year olds dressed ,came knocking on windows complaing dogs should be supervised at all times. Disgusting attitude, and unfriendly old lady pulling the strings .Avoid at every opportunity. Run down shower and toilet, bar, restaurant and cafe all closed and for sale for some time, but still used to bait people stopping . Couldn't wait to leave .

Luckily for us we had only booked the one night as we passed through, we arrived at about 5.30pm and found a very small site laid with gravel and smelling strongly of sewerage. The biggest negative ever is the state of the ladies toilet it was absolutely disgusting, no loo roll, hair every where and dirty uncleaned toilets. The owner was pleasant enough but beware any future travellers.

Quite basic, as is the sanitary provision. Thought rather intransigent that after returning earlier than expected from a bike ride that there was an unwillingness to refund that night, with various reasoning (the books" have been updated

While the whole site is well maintained, clean and functional, I have to say that the behaviour of some residents is a complete no-go. We did not get any sleep during our stay as our “neighbours” were drinking, singing, clapping and chanting till early in the morning. Last time I checked was 3am. And it went on. That night at the cot house really took a toll on us. Never experienced this - and we’ve been to quite a few camping ground all over northern Europe.

In response to Andrew Tunn review, this man was asked to leave the park as he had two dogs although tied up, the we're on long leads and unintended, they were fouling the park, and when approached about his dog mess not being removed he became aggressive to management. The park has to keep dogs under control as it's a family park and no one wants to be stepping in dog dirt.
