Bayside

Stayed here the night of 23rd August as we had a wedding reception at the Hi-Tide Inn. Because of the cheap prices me and my mum wasnt expecting too much. But was very surprised to find tea and coffee in rooms along with a sink, some towels, microwave and a safe that you could programme ur own pin too. There were even two shared bathrooms with showers aswell which was handy. All very clean. The owner was very helpful as we hadnt thought about how we were going to dry our hair as we had just come off another holiday. Luckily for us the owner had one we could borrow for no extra charge. Super customer service and was very pleasant. Only reason i have removed a star as on the website it says bed and breakfast. We werent made aware that there was any breakfast available.

We had a fabulous stay at the Bayside Guest House.Lovely host and facilities are spotlessly clean.The quality of the fixtures and fitting and bed linen is excellent and wouldn't look out of place in an establishment 3 times the price of this little gem !Thanks Les for a lovely stay from Rob and Donna x

The rooms are clean but very basic. The owner was polite and helpful too. We were given a room at the very top of the building. On the 4th floor. And there were no lifts. 2 of our party were semi disabled, so it was a nightmare. But it was very cheap.

The room was clean and host was very welcoming ideal location as its a stones throw from the beach the only downside and it may just be me but cups maybe to be replaced with mugs as I love my coffee

Stayed at the Bayside Guesthouse for two nights just for the weekend and it was great. The rooms are nothing fancy but are clean, spacious, and comfortable. It’s reasonably priced and in a fantastic location close to Trecco Bay, the beach, the fair, and all the bars,food places and shops, all within walking distance. Les the owner is a really nice guy and very welcoming. Will definitely be staying there again on our next little break to Porthcawl.

It's very difficult to find fault with this accommodation, if I was to be picky, the mattress on the double bed was a little too firm for my liking and could be improved by replacing the bed with a king size bed for which there is room with a slightly more forgiving mattress, which in my opinion would bring in even more custom or a mattress topper fitted to the current bed. Otherwise a beautiful little jem of a place to stay.

As a family of 3, we just stayed here for 3 nights.,We stayed in the top attic room which was lovely and spacious, well kept and good for all our needs.The owner Les was very friendly and welcoming.The location is perfect for the fair which is opposite and the beach is at the end of the street.Also close to trecco bay.We can't fault the place and will be visiting again soon.

there was a door for a window with no view, hot rock burns, pubic hair, tik tok shop lamp didn't work properly and it was haunted..

The guest house is well located for the beach and the funfair and a couple of pubs. It was cheap and clean enough and not to bad for me and my mates who were there for a night out. But it is very basic. There was a lot of coming and going from other rooms with squeaky doors which was very noisy. The room I was in was on the top floor with a sink a safe and a microwave and a kettle. There were two shared shower/toilets on the middle floor which were clean. We got we paid for. A cheap no hassle bed to sleep in after a night out.
