Heights Hotel

Very good location, two bus stops adjacent to hotel and spectacular views towards the mainland. The cafe presented a very tasty crab quiche with salad and pot of tea. I paid upfront for two evening meals, both were mainly good and service very attentive. I didn't much like the bread and butter pudding with bananas, the bananas were hard! The rooms are a good size, but are short of accessible power points. The double shower was a good size, hot water near instantaneous. Bathroom ventilation not good though, the room smelt rather damp. I left the bathroom door ajar and the bedroom window ajar, despite the potential security risk, and the damp smell went. Overall, good rooms, high catering standards, attentive and helpful staff, not a busy hotel in late October.

Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast. Rooms are clean and functional. Wifi is fine. Views on a good day are amazing, but due to its lofty location be prepared for extremes of weather outside of the nicer days! Brilliant walks and so on surrounding it. However if you want nightlife, possibly consider Weymouth.

My review relates to the cafe bar as I did stay overnight.Views are spectacular. there's no getting away from it. However, we visited for an evening pizza. Upon arrival, we were not made to feel welcome as the place was empty. We ordered 2 Pizza at £14 each, and whilst they were good, they were served to us in cardboard pizza boxes. For that money, you would expect to eat off of plates and not takeaway boxes!During our stay, the staff behaved in what I would describe as an inappropriate manner, with one of them dropping the F Word in casual conversation between the 2 of them.We paid a premium for a service which we didn't receive, and I certainly won't be going back in a hurry.

This is our fourth visit and will not be our last. The hotel staff are warm and welcoming. Every one of them will and have gone the extra mile to provide all our requirements. The food in the restaurant has been tasty and plentiful, whether it be breakfast or dinner and all requirements met by a lovely staff. Our room is always clean and comfortable. Yes maybe a little 90s but everything you require is provided. We love this hotel. The views are stunning and the hotel is well situated for access to many sites of interest within Dorset. Shall be back.

Absolutely great location, breakfast with a stunning view, service can't be flawed :) especially Belinda at the bar.Rooms are okay, everything else makes up for it.

Heights Hotel is a lovely place to stay, many interesting walks and a half hourly bus service into Weymouth. Food is excellent, with beautiful panoramic views of both Chesil beach and Weymouth Bay. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay again.

Upon reading the sign outside welcoming non-residents to use the bar, my custom was turned down and my partner and I were asked to leave.The chap at the bar was very nice, but the experience left quite a bad taste.Despite the welcoming bold signage, we were made to feel incredibly not welcome.

First visit here, overall the hotel was lovely with very friendly staff.I thought the bathroom was a bit dated though and the towels could have been a bit larger otherwise no complaints.

The Hotel is in a great location with amazing views towards Chesil Beach.The room was very functional & although we had something of a mix up with breakfast I'm fairly sure this isn't the norm! Unusually I cannot comment on the bar as did not visit or dine in the evening due to other arrangementsStaff were very helpful & friendly.

The view is fantastic—best place for a sunset. I stayed in June, and it was pretty cold at night (about 5 degrees). There was no heating, and they didn't have any heaters either. Myself and two more colleagues came back with a nasty cold as a result of sleeping in what was a very cold room.
