Fantastic theatre showcasing the best in amateur dramatics in Winchester. Some great productions coming this year and it's so nice to have raked seating. Just wish the seats themselves were a little more comfortable!

Massively enjoyed both watching and performing here. Nice little theatre, around 70 seats I’d say. It’s very near a multi-story car park, which allows very easy access.

Fabulous little theatre. Great production of A Christmas Carol. Really funny, really emotional. Brilliantly staged and performed.

What a delightful evening! I went to see The Beauty Queen of Leenane on the 21st March. I had never been to this theatre before but what a treat was waiting for me! The theatre is housed in a converted church and the set was superb with a realistic crofters' cottage featuring an indoors and outdoors. The cast was only 4 strong but they were very professional. Their Irish accents sounded extremely authentic to me and there was a lyricism to the script: real Irish blarney: not surprising as the writer is Anglo Irish and had spent childhood holidays in Galway where the play is set. It was a very gritty and absorbing story which kept you guessing throughout its 2 hour odd running. But the dark Irish humour shone through it all. A very impressive performance and I am thoroughly looking forward to the next offering.

Staff is very nice and friendly. Extremely small theater. Tickets as such are only £14. The bar area is small and hard to fit everyone. Drinks are the most reasonably prices you’ll find at any theatre. A bottled sparkling water is £1 and a double gin is £3.50. Very reasonable. There are two unisex toilets. Clean and stocked. The show we saw was GHOSTS. It was a decent production for a tiny theater but the actors all messed up their lines several times in the second act. Staging seemed a bit off.The big issue is the seats. They are downright horrible and extremely uncomfortable. I was the smallest person there — so much for Americans being overweight when we’re consistently the thinnest ones wherever we go in the UK — and I was in pain sitting and had no room. They interlock the cheap seats and don’t space them well. My spouse was locked in next to a large couple so his seat was encroached upon. During intermission he figured out how to untangle the seats and move his chair a couple of inches away. I saw some regulars brought their own cushions because the seats are so uncomfortable.
