Vera the Diva classes are always so fun and rewarding, Edurne is a great teacher and I feel like I have learnt so much, whilst also met some lovely people! Would highly recommend to anyone who wanted to start learning Ballroom and Latin dancing.

For our wedding dance we tried around 5 different intro dance lessons but were immediately won over by Edurne at Vera the Diva and booked 10 lessons, at their Covent Garden and Clapham venues, both of which were great.Edurne was a delight to work with. She is incredibly professional and worked very hard with us each session to make sure we would be ready for our wedding dance. She is an incredibly skilled dancer, and could always identify areas for improvement in our dance routine, and so was able to create our dance in real time, based on our skill level. She is an expert teacher, and I thought it was great how she would correct one thing at a time. She was endlessly patient, with me in particular (I have no dance game, whereas I think my wife is excellent!), so I was set at ease and not stressed by my lack of skills and constant mistakes! Edurne is also extremely charming to work with, and made our lessons fun, and so we looked forward to them. (Her colleague David was also great to deal with).We literally cannot imagine a better dance teacher and thoroughly recommend Edurne and Vera the Diva!!

Vera was an absolute delight to work with. She was so patient working with me and my fiance as we developed some choreography for our wedding first dance". She helped us put together a great dance routine and taught us all the moves so we could dance with confidence on the big day. Would recommend her dance guidance to anyone!"

Been dancing at these classes for about a year now and I can’t get enough! I felt very welcomed and encouraged by my teacher Edurne in Clapham, and surprised by how natural these dances felt with a partner and the music, it’s a very different experience to solo dancing. There are a range of classes from beginners 1 and 2, intermediate and improvers, you can move up or down according to how you feel. I’ve moved from beginners 1 to 2. Which a range of dancers attend, with a good balance of genders and ages from early 20s to 40s (Me being 25). I always go home feeling like I’ve been nourished by dance, good people and like I’ve learnt something new ♥️

I joined the class as a first time dancer and I loved it so much! Vera is an incredible teacher; with so much passion and energy, she ensures that her classes are always very fun and productive.I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn ballroom dancing whilst meeting cool people in a fun and vibrant atmosphere!

We booked 5 lessons with Edurne to practice a wedding dance and we had such a fantastic experience and really enjoyed the lessons. Edurne was really receptive to helping us create an individualised dance with the song that we had chosen and was always encouraging us always had a smile on her face. Everyone at the wedding loved the dance and it was such a fun experience and something that I will remember fondly. We are very much dancing novices and were worried that we would look awkward on the dance floor and the experience was the complete opposite and was such a special, unique moment of the wedding that everyone loved! What is most striking is the warmth, care and attention Edurne pays her students. She provides a place to learn but also a community to meet people, fall in love with dance, and have a lot of fun doing so. Having moved to a new city that was invaluable and much appreciated.Vera the Diva offers an outstanding level of teaching. Lessons are engaging and informative. Lessons cover a wide variety of dances - from foxtrot to salsa and cha cha to quickstep - but never feel overwhelming. Additional practise time is also allotted for. I highly recommend.

Vera the Diva Ballroom & Latin Dance School
Danced privately with my partner and Vera The Diva over the course of 6 months. We were training for our wedding first dance. Edurne was fantastic, she listened to our brief about what we imagined and created something above expectations. Both of us were total dancing beginners and Edurne managed to teach us a wonderful routine in several dance styles. She made dancing really fun and was always very patient for when we couldn’t remember or kept getting it wrong. I would never recommend anyone else to dance with. We loved dancing with her so much that we plan to continue training via her workshop sessions. Thanks Edurne for everything!
