Roma & Friends Dog Training

Took our 12 week old GSD puppy to the 5 x week group puppy classes. Learned so much about socialisation, basic commands and obedience training! Classes held in a large open field with plenty of space and adjacent parking. Staff very friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Now part way through a one to one training course to focus on specific training relevant to GSD breed and our individual puppy to give him the best start in life.Overall a professional service and good value too.

Megan was a fantastic trainer! ☺️ My aim was to get my dog to walk on the lead without pulling. This was done in the first training session, My homework was very clear instructions and doing what was requested paid off for me. We had another few training sessions working in recall and obedience, again clear instructions given and it has been well worth the effort. I would not hesitate to use Megan again ☺️

Can't recommend Megan enough! She absolutely loves all dogs and helped us loads with our very excitable 1 year old cocker. Thanks to Megan his lead walking has come on leaps and bounds.

Pippy and I recently completed the puppy follow-on group class with Megan. We had a great time and learned so much, she will always take time to go round the small group and adapt the excercise we're working on to each dog's personality. We are now carrying on with Hoopers which is a lot of fun and helps us build on our learning so far. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our first group class with our 7 month old puppy last week. We were made to feel really welcome straight away! Megan gave us lots of useful tips throughout the class, which we can take with us and keep practicing at home. Definitely looking forward to the next few sessions. Thank you!

Meg has been brilliant with our Romanian rescue Brody. I only wish we had known of her with our previous pup too.Brody was rescued as an older dog after being attacked by other dogs. Having lived 6 years in the wild a few quirks remained in his transition into being a 'pet'. Meg totally gets Rommie dogs and works to the individual dog. Brody is highly motivated by food which is great for some things but not for relaxation so she altered her approach to suit him. Many trainers would just have shrugged their shoulders or potentially made the situation worse by not knowing alternatives to food based rewards. We'll definitely be back in touch with Meg should we ever need any other quirks working on. Can't thank you enough!

We recently completed our course of puppy training classes and also booked Megan for a 1:1 session. Both the classes and the 1:1 were excellent. Megan is very knowledgeable and patient and really takes the time to get to know you and your dog. Highly recommend, particularly if you are following Steve Mann's easy peasy puppy squeezy training methods.

Just finished the Puppy Follow on class, small group size, great tips, really progressed over the 5 sessions and gave ideas to practice outside of class. Will be continuing with the obedience classes.

Megan has helped us in so many ways with our little dog and we cannot thank her enough. We have used her for 1-2-1s and also attended classes which are both excellent vaule for money. Most importantly Megan uses positive reinforcement so I know that he is not being pushed into doing anything he is not comfortable with. We will continue to work with her in the future and I am always recommending her to other people :)
