At long last an alternative supplier of quality connectivity for Hull. We use MS3 fibre connection at work.... and it works....very well!! People in Hull have complained often and for many years about the 'monopoly' of only one provider so it's disappointing to see negative reviews based on the minor inconvenience for a day or 2 of some groundworks to lay the infrastructure....rather than the quality of the connectivity they are providing....which is excellent!

Awful service. Staff appear almost clueless. Took 3 men almost 3 hours to leave with work uncompleted.Attitude of staff was awful, stopped work to answer several personal calls to talk football and arranging nights out. Stopped working to have a chat on my front garden with a colleague of theirs who had just finished a job and popped for a chat". Staff had the nerve to throw a empty Drinks bottle in my black wheelie bin. If it happens again I'll unload a ton of rubbish right at the entrance doors of your office to see how you like it.At the end of day 1 still left with NO internet connection. Would give 0 stars if possible. Avoid these cow boys like the plague!!"

Whilst I recognise this is a good thing for Hull, increasing completion to drive down costs for all in the longer term. The way they are going about doing it, lack of contact and professionalism and lack of contact aren't good founding signs for the company.The appointed contractors have a cowboy attitude because MS3 are not obligating what they state on the website.Works will not start before 8am, they did. We will inform by letter when we are about to commence work on your street, didn’t. Haven’t returned calls when I called to discuss concerns.Update: still nothing. Called them again to be put through to an outsourced call taker reading from a sheet.

Awesome, I will be getting alongside kcom lightstream as I require more ip addresses.As a responce to other reviews:The law states no loud noises between 11pm and 7am, the contractors have been polite and informative as I am also in the construction industry I understand the work that's needed to be done.It's great to see another provider in Hull, as I am a big bandwith user I will be getting there biggest package and I am quite excited to get it at half the price of kcom with more upload speed (needed).I just can not understand why these ISP's can not bring in ipv6 as the ip addresses cost peanuts and could offer extra ip addresses to customers practically free.If they did support ipv6 I would buy my own block to be used.After contacting the company they where professional and informative, better than kcom as I have been awaiting and engineer to contact me for over 12 months and they always say they will be intouch.

On 31st March 2023 I found a mess of cement in my front garden and tiled path and some black plastic trunking and fibre optic line coming out of the ground near my house wall.I later found out my neighbour was having fibre broadband installed by MS3 but MS3 got the wrong house! Apparently my neighbour was sent a photo before they started work told them they had the wrong house but they did it anyway without even knocking.I called MS3 whilst the cement was setting but the person I spoke to was absolutely zero help, didn't admit it was their cable and quickly ended the call saying he'd call back, without having actually taken my number. I wasted hours making calls and Google g broadband companies trying to find out who's cable it actually was.I had to remove the cement myself washing it from my garden soil, plants, slate chippings and terracotta tiles - if I'd actually wanted the install I'd've been unhappy at the shoddy workmanship anyway. I opened the hatch on the pavement and pulled the cable back through. The screw meant to secure the hatch lid was missing anyway, it's missing on all the hatches they've installed.I the had a number of very long conversations with confused but far more helpful people at Grain and Kingston Communications who were eventually able to verify it wasn't their line. I then contacted MS3 again via Facebook, they responded saying it was a high priority but otherwise did absolutely nothing at all even then didn't actually acknowledge it was their cable till days later after I'd received a router with my neighbours name on it sent by one of their partners.Their response remained completely unhelpful and they didn't even compensate me for my time wasted, the work I had to do cleaning up their mess, or stress caused by their incompletence most of which could've been cut short of the first person I spoke to had actually dealt with my call the day they made their mistake.Give the consistent level of incompetence I'd unsurprisingly avoid MS3, which includes avoiding companies who use their cables:Hull FibreOctaplusYayzi BroadbandDirect Save TelecomHome Telecom TalkTalkMTH NetworksLink BroadbandSquirrelOpen FibreZone BroadbandFiber ZoneInfinics

Very pleased with service. The new poles have enabled a good stable connection. I don't see the problem with having a few poles.

Awful company. No public consultation before turfing up our streets. No signage to show who is digging the street up or why. Rude workers. Trapped everyone in, elderly and disabled residents included without any prior notice. Our streets are destroyed for something we don't want. If I could give zero stars I would.

M S 3 networks are a wonderful company, and they employ talented, committed, hard-working people. I have to say that the amount of consideration given to every member of the public during the build of this broadband contract is astounding.The management & planners are trying to accommodate everyone's needs and supply a cheaper, more robust service than to that of their competitors to the people of Hull. We all know how essential a reliable fibre network is for businesses, to be competitive, and to survive in this current climate.I applaud all the efforts made and say, Well done to the councils in all bourghs for approving works and ensuring high standards are adhered to and to all the members of the public who have tolerated the upheaval
