Absolutely dreadful. Used to fix a cracked phone screen. First attempt was not assembled correctly causing the replacement screen to crack in less than an hour. Had to argue with staff to get a second replacement which was still incorrectly fitted. In the end I paid for the original manufacturer to do the repair. Waste of time, energy and money at Timpsons. Won’t be using any of their services in the future. Can’t give 0 stars so have had to give 1.

How rude are your sunday staff? I went in asking for a key blade to be cut for my car only to be greeted by a very rude member of their staff who told me they couldn't cut my key and it wouldn't work with my car. I tried explaining the key had been programmed for my car and I just needed to get the blade cut. The member of staff wouldn't let me finish and interrupted by saying No

Very friendly and highly experienced in this sector, the only place I go in rochdale for a key cutting or watch repair, also does excellent engraving at a reasonable price

We needed a new screen for an iPhone 11. Throughout the whole process Dane and his colleagues kept us informed when the screen would arrive.Best of all, when we went to have the screen replaced Dane carefully examined our phone and told us it was only the screen protector that was cracked so he ordered a new one straight away.Really impressed by Timpsons customer service and knowledge will definitely use them in future.Richard

Key cut straight away, little expensive but service was there

Either the staff need training properly in how to cut keys or the equipment needs looking at.Twice on the bounce now, 3 of the last 5 times, they've cut keys from new composite doors keys and they haven't worked.I've passed these to tradesmen for renovation works and then had to drive over as they couldn't get in to take them to Accrington Asda Timpsons that managed to cut them ok.This has cost me time, petrol and money twice. Nowhere near good enough.

Shoe repair was excellent. Had my favourite work shoes re-soled and re-heeled. Only reason it's not five stars is the time taken and the fact they said they'd let me know when my shoes were ready, but didn't.

I got my phone screen fixed by this store in September 2020. I rang up after not hearing if it had arrived and was told the screen had arrived and I could come and get it fixed whenever, went down the next day and was told the wrong screen had been ordered and they could not find the correct screen. I still decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go ahead with them when the correct screen was in. When it got fixed no forms had been given to me to sign or anything, just dropped off and picked up a few hours later. However, I noticed my speaker on my phone had changed a bit when phoning people but again did not think much of it. Just over 2 months later, my phone fell one morning on the carpet and the screen shattered again, it was not a hard fall. Took it to this branch again and explained the situation as I knew my phone was under warranty and the guy rudely said he didn't believe my story and that I would have to pay for a new one and it was not covered under the warranty (a chat with head office also confirmed this). Went back today (28.11) to go and get my phone fixed and the man asked me to sign a form and told me to back up my phone and did not seem to care when I told him that last time I was not told to do any of this. Very shocked by how rude and incompetent the staff is and how poor the service is, so would not recommend.

Bought a watch battery in Feb this year with 1 year guarantee. Went to get it done again as it stopped working. Showed receipt and asked for warranty card? Didn't get 1 at the time. Why would I keep flimsy receipt but not the warranty card. Battery not changed and will not be going back there. Could have had it done else where fir half the price. Not happy!
