The building really needs better signage to the front of it.

Small reception. Not feel good.. previous place was better...

Simply follow the location on google maps. As soon as you see phoenix yard which is visible form afar, keep going till you reach the entrance and you will see the DVSA board just outside the building. The test center is located at floor3. Lift service available as well.There is an intercom at the door to call the receptionist. They accommodate you a max of 30 minutes before your booked time slot.You will have to wait in the hallway (which is not allowed but you will find people sitting on the stairs and in the corners waiting for their time slots ) . As soon as you are granted entrance you will be asked to sit in the neatly aligned chairs in front of the reception. The staff is very polite and helpful for any queries. The receptionist will ask you to come at the desk and provide the booking number and look up into the camera for few seconds. You will also have to provide the DVLA card used to book the test slot. She will ask you to confirm your name and then once confirmed you will be asked to sign and you are successfully checked in for the test. Next she will give you keys to a locker to keep all your valuables such as watches , switched off mobile and keys. However please carry the DVLA card with you. Once you are done with the locker proceed to go towards the examination room wherein you will be asked to pull out your pockets and lift the collar, lift the bottom of the pants to reveal if anything is hidden inside the socks etc. once the security check is complete the gentleman will give you instructions on how to attempt the test and in case of any problems stay seated and raise your hand. You can also take a few napkins, earplugs etc available at the security check table. You will then be given a desk number / PC number . You can proceed towards your seat and make sure your full name is correctly displayed on the screen before your start the test. Headphones are also provided and the PC is in a good condition. Test starts with multiple choice questions , you can go back and review and missed or doubtful questions , you may also flag them for revision at the end,once you complete the multiple choice there is a 3 min break, you can then play the instruction video for hazard perception . Following this once you start, 14 hazard perception clips are played on full screen without any breaks and these are played in sequence , take note that you cannot repeat or cancel these clips. The mouse cursor is not visible on the screen but you will be able to do clicks for the hazard perception. Only one of the clips has 2 hazards while remaining have one hazard each. Right after you complete the test you can attempt the optional survey and leave from the exit door which is right behind the examination room. Proceed to take your items from the locker and wait for the receptionist to print out the test result. You can then collect it and leave the center immediately.Note:washroom is available in the waiting area as well.Drinking water with disposable glasses are also available.Good luck to all the test takers.

The old lady at the reception was completely unhelpful, she was rude(time1130).There was no reason to be rude even if I complied with the instructions and was nice with her. She didn't even open the door after she saw me at the door and even after I told her I will leave outside for a minute.She was nice with other people. This is discrimination.Re-train your staff to not have an attitude for no reason!
