Good food! Some dishes were very good but some mediocre. The salmon on the fish dish ordered had bones in it and we discussed that with the restaurant manager and he sorted that issue out so customer service was pretty good. Had a good range of cocktails and overall a nice time.

My friends and myself enjoyed our visit. The service was second to none. Very attentive without being intrusive. The chicken dish we all chose was tasty but unfortunately not hot at all. We were so much looking forward to some food to warm us up on a cold evening

Genuinely disappointed.We came for my mums 60th birthday and thought we would treat her to a lovely meal. It started really well we all really enjoyed our starters no complaints there but it all went downhill with our mains. Items were mixed up with our steaks being cooked wrong my husband ordered a medium well fillet and I ordered a medium ribeye they were cooked the over way round. We then had the wrong sauces and chips put with the wrong steaks, 3 or us ordered steaks. My steak was just warm not hot at all and the chips were cold. My brother in laws dauphinoise potatoes were extremely small he said if he had know we would have ordered additional sides but was too late at this point. My sisters meal was cold she ordered the beef stroganoff and when we told the waitress she then questioned my sister if she was sure due to the plate being very warm underneath. She assured her it was as she had just tried it and her husband agreed (whom is a chef) made us feel a little uncomfortable as there was no apology for the errors. They did remove my sisters meal from the bill but was just very disappointing that not one of our min meals were correct. The desserts were delicious.Maybe we were unlucky that we came on a Saturday evening but as I said a big disappointment when you are out celebrating a 60th birthday.

Great for lunch (we had a nice lunch there) but not worth the price for the evening menu. I changed my order but got the original one (beef bourguignon) and it came clearly having been under the hot lights for a while as the mash had a thick skin on it, plus the vegetables were cold. I was offered a replacement but didn't have time to wait for it. They shouldn't have sent food out looking like that.

My husband and I both feel that Cote always get it right when it comes to the food, value for money, choice and speed at getting the food to you. It's why, even we could have eaten at our hotel, or at another restaurant, we choose Cote. I had the Sea Bream Nantais - it was excellent.. My husband had the Mushroom Bourguignon, which he said was very good. The restaurant looked lovely decorated for Christmas.

Always a lovely experience with authentic excellent quality food. A perfect place for a special occasion. Never had a disappointing meal here. Although the French don’t really cater for vegetarians or vegans, it would be a good idea if they did this more here to be more inclusive and cater for everyone in the party

Really enjoyed lunch here! Lovely food and good service.The restaurant is much bigger than I anticipated, has a very stylish decor, and importantly it was spotlessly clean.We really enjoyed the food. The menu has plenty of options including vegetarian. The grilled salmon was, according to my wife, very good. I chose the burger which also tasted very good. To drink we both chose the elderflower presse which was very good. We did think that it was expensive at £4.25 each, but it was delicious.The staff were efficient and attentive, we were greeted with a welcome and as we stood up to leave, we were received a lovely thank you and comment about the weather now improving!
