Bitterly disappointed with customer service.It was bad enough when I went into the store to try out a couple of bikes and was fobbed off onto the work experience student who could get down the bikes I wanted but had very little knowledge of them and didn't ask me about what I was looking for.I selected the bike I wanted, ordered it online with some accessories and thought I'd got a pretty good deal - I'd taken advantage of a couple of offers and used a gift card. When I went to place the order, there was a technical hitch that meant my account was charged without the order being placed.I thought it was a bit odd I didn't get any confirmation. I spent a lot of time chasing up their customer service team as to whether they had the order or not. A week later, I'm still in correspondence trying to get the same goods that I did for the same price. Very unimpressed.

Come down to Halfords for some windscreen wipers asked one of the staff Members told him my car make and model he just couldn’t be asked to help me he just sighed and told me some random numbers (talking gibberish) didn’t even have the decency to show me where I would find the windscreen wipers very Poor, lazy customer service can’t imagine what management is like I’ve left the store without the item I needed simply because your horrendous staff was too lazy to help will not be coming again you need to fix up big time !!! Don’t waste your time paying these waffles a visit

I have been to Halfords on valley road, after a stressful morning with my and my battery being absolutely dead. From start to finish we was confronted by a man called Daniel who turned out to be the dept manager. He helped me to get my car sorted and gave lots of adviceWould highly recommend

Ordered online...went to collect..got home to find 2 of same item and one that looks like it was used in your garage more than once and then repacked...... contacted your customer service chat line and chatted to Aman until I mentioned complaint and then the line seemed to stop.... appalling...unhappy customer

My recent experience with Halfords has been nothing short of infuriating due to their abysmal timekeeping and communication practices.I booked an appointment for a bike service well in advance, expecting a smooth and timely process. However, when the day arrived, I found myself waiting for over an hour past the scheduled appointment time without any explanation or update from the staff.The lack of transparency and accountability in their communication left me feeling neglected as a customer. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but keeping customers in the dark without any updates or apologies is simply unacceptable.

Just received immaculate service from Tom at the Bradford branch (and also his new supervisor whose name I didn't take) - Excellent friendly efficient expert service resolving an issue relating to a puncture. Thanks for the stress free experience and resolving the issue so promptly and fuss-free - #Recommendhighly

Awful customer service for the second time. Will be avoiding at all costs in the future. Booked and paid for a 10 point health check for my car. Staff member reluctantly did about 5 checks, had to be told about the others and then said he had done it and 'I'm not lying'. Emailed online support and they said I have to go back to the store and speak to the manager. Would give it zero if I could.

Very helpful, told them what i needed, they looked it up and went and got me it even offered to fit it for an extra fee ( handy) even the guy on the till was pleasant. I am going back for a new dash cam and it fitting.

The 5 stars are for the Guiseley branch!! Outstanding. I ordered 2 new bulbs and paid extra to have them fit at the Harrogate store. I arrived and they showed me to a drive in garage and the guy changed both bulbs. I drop away (daytime) thankful that my lights were working. I drive down country roads for almost all my journey to and from work. I noticed quite quickly that the left bulb was not working properly. I was struggling to see anything. I called the customer service number who told me to go to my nearest store with my receipt and they would fix it. The two you men working there this evening were amazing!! Not only had the original guy put the bulb in wrong, not clipped the bulb setting back in correctly he had also left the discarded bulbs under my bonnet!! The Guiseley staff are and were amazing! A credit to the company! Harrogate may need some more training!
