More Than Paws

Lara worked for me from appx 16 September to 11 November 2019 so, two months in total. During that time she had three days off sick and I had to arrange for my old dog walker to cover at least five days. On one occasion, she walked my dog in the morning eg 9/10am to suit her own plans rather than midday/1pm to break-up our dog’s day. Also, our dog was mainly walked around a football field ie the same walk and I had to request that it be varied.

This was my first time using a pet sitter and was naturally worried about what to expect. I needn't have worried. Lara was a very friendly, reliable and trustworthy sitter. Cooper had a wonderful time and I was sent regular WhatsApp updates which was great. I would absolutely recommend Lara to anyone needing a pet sitter and wouldn't hesitate to use her services again.

Lara is amazing with our young, very nervous dog. She walks him regularly, has sat for him at our home when we have been on holiday and has helped with training and behaviour. Lara is totally reliable, very calm and unflappable and completely trustworthy. She is also incredibly knowledgeable. Our dog loves her and I never worry about leaving him as I know he is in safe hands. Highly recommend.

Lara looked after our dog Mabel during our summer holiday this year. We had daily updates about what Mabel was doing and as it was the first time we’ve left her with someone other than family this was very reassuring. I could see she was having a lovely time, different walks every day, lots of enrichment time.Mabel also unfortunately was unwell while with Lara (nothing to do with the care she received). Lara acted totally appropriately, took her to vets out of hours and liaised with us and the vets while Mabel was there.I wouldn’t hesitate to use Lara again or recommend her.

We were looking for someone local to help us train our new 4 month old miniature labradoodle puppy, Hugo. From the initial phone call it was clear to see that Lara was a very enthusiastic and knowledgable trainer who cared about the whole process. We opted for the six once weekly lesson and at the end we were well trained and advised in how to get the best from Hugo. The rest is now up to us to continue her good work.I would be very happy to recommend her to anyone looking to train a new puppy.

Lara has looked after our dogs for two holidays now and she is absolutely wonderful. From the minute we drop our boys off to the moment we pick them we just know that they are going to be looked after as if they were her own. She is totally reliable and confident in looking after our dogs - I don't think anything could phase her. You are able to go away without any worry. I can't believe how much activity Lara crams into the day with them. We were away for over two weeks and they were so chilled when we picked them up - and were in no hurry at all to come home! Lara sends lovely updates each day with videos and photos - we looked forward to our daily 'pup update'. We can't recommend Lara highly enough but we just don't want too many people to discover her or we won't be able to book our boys back in again next time!

Lara looked after our miniature schnauzer, Tiggy, for 2 weeks over the summer. Lara kept me updated with daily pictures - Tiggy clearly had a wonderful time and came home with increased confidence about being around other dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lara.

Lara is amazing. Her natural affinity with animals is unique. Our dog Tamba adores her and gets super excited when she comes to collect her for her walkies. Lara is an expert in giving Tamba the enrichment and exercise she needs. I have no hesitation in recommending her. She is professional, trustworthy and always cheerful!
