Tesco Superstore

More like a Tesco express than a superstore. Too small and cramped. Tried to ram too much stuff in there, aisles are tiny. Not set out very well and not enough tills. Self checkout is way too small to put your items on. Not impressed.

Was surprised that they never extended the old coop building to make a bigger store and possibly made use of the old doctors surgery.Some of the isles feel very cramped and you cannot stop with your trolley to have a good look on the shelves. The fresh vegetables and frozen food isles are too spacious. They could of set the layout better.I visited on a separate occasion on Christmas Eve, me and my mum noticed even though there was lots of staff. Quite a few were too busy chatting to people and being quite ignorant. Blocking isles and gathering in the most awkward spaces where customers had to go in another direction. At the self scan area i kept trying to get some members of staffs attention to get help and they were just stood doing nothing. That isn't good customer service.

For me this place was very easy to get and park. Lines were busy but I got checked quicker than I thought.

Store was good, plenty of space for mobility scooters inside.Only issue we had was the attitude of a male staff member on the self scan tills, he was very rude

Awful 90 items self scanned 27 different items needed checking. They scanned cheese twice after only saying you can scan everything once. Accused us of not scanning a block of cheese told us we would need to go through the checkouts to see what else we haven't scanned. Left it all on counter and left. Got son upset now as he was scanning and thinks he has stolen.

It's okay. Not enough actual people serving, on tills. Very cold inside the store.

For a start the people who say the staff are rude and aggressive is total bs I could understand it was one regular staff member but they say all staff are. You sure you're not the problem. Because l know a lot of people have had no problems with staff. Just saying.

Shopping in Gloucester is a lot more economical than the local area even taking into account fuel. Same store but our local is much more expensive. I love the choices I have at the superstore and the times it's open

Absolutely disgusting attitude from one of the staff members doubting what I had said to them. Why would I lie, and then they ask if I have proof!!!! It's in the envelope. What a disgrace.

Good supermarket for most daily shopping requirements.
