I stayed here for one night after work on my way to the airport the following day its a lovely hotel. The staff are super friendly and professional. The room was lovely and it was very clean. If you want to go out for food and drink everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was lovely.

We enjoyed a very nice stay at Brooks Guesthouse. It is located in the centre of Bristol and right next to St Nicholas Market. The perfect place to base yourself for a city stay. The room was small but was clean and comfortable and had everything you would expect. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We did not have breakfast but it looked lovely as we passed and were tempted.I see a lot of reviews mentioning the late night noise. We did not find this a problem. It is a city centre hotel in an area with different bars and clubs. If you are after a long day exploring Bristol you won't have an issue finding sleep! Thanks all at Brooks Guesthouse.

Amazing friendly staff. Both that we met on our stay were happy and friendly. The breakfast room and courtyard, were clean and spacious. The bedroom was small, but adequate and nicely decorated. The bathroom was ok, but the shower needs a proper clean with black mould on the sealant and limescale build up on the bottom of the glass. There was also a limescale build up in the overflow of the sink. The location of the guest house is in the middle of St Nicholas market surrounded by vibrant city life.

Great location and price, with friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. We stayed in a standard room, so not in one of the 'rockets' on the roof. There is no wardrobe in the room, but plenty of wall mounted coat hangers and some cupboard space. The shower is small but perfectly manageable. The double glazing and window shutters ensured we heard very little noise from what is a very lively area of the city.Brooks is located approx two thirds of the way down on the right hand side of Exchange Avenue off Corn Street. It's literally right next door to the St Nicholas Market, and a maximum five minute walk from Bristol Hippodrome.Whilst breakfast isn't included in the room price, a continental breakfast costs £6.50 and a continental and full breakfast £13. Breakfasts are cooked in an open kitchen in the dining area. Great value and very tasty.

This place was far below my expectations unfortunately. My friend and I were supposed to stay for two days while visiting Bristol. Our first night was on Tuesday. It was around 10:30 to 11pm when we were ready to go to bed. There was a loud music and noise from a large crowd from outside. It was very LOUD, making us feel like we were at a concert venue. The music and loud noise went on until 3am, which made us stay up until then. It completely ruined our stay. We decided to leave without staying for an extra day. When we spoke to the management about this issue, they did offer another room facing the opposite side of the street away from bars and restaurants but no option for a refund. I doubt moving to a different room will provide any better environment given how loud the noise were. If you want a relaxing stay, I highly discourage you to stay at this place. The room itself was very nice and cozy but did not noise-cancel any outside noise coming from the busy street adjacent to the building.

Stayed here for a night recently while visiting a friend. Perfectly located right by the covered market and within reasonable walking distance of Temple Meads. Breakfast was delicious, the room was very cosy and clean. Very easy to be in and out at any time, I came back to the hotel quite late but it was easy to get back in, and when I arrived early before check in there is a very comfortable lounge area to sit in and do some work or relax. In particular Shanah on the reception desk was wonderful company and super helpful, amazing customer service. Felt very homely in the best way! Will 100% be back here again next time I'm coming to Bristol.

I loved this hotel! It was very cozy! And the breakfast was really good, I stayed with my partner after a gig and we needed up staying more nights than planned! I like that after dark it shuts its gates which makes it feel more secure!Lovely little garden area! I think next time I will try out one of the camper vans that are on their roof!

Right on a busy street but the windows are sound proofed. Was amazing service from the reception staff on arrival and departure. Would stay again and recommend.
