This is quite an interesting place to visit. We went in the farm shop, which as all farm shops tend to be, was mega expensive. Also not a lot on the shelves. The shop which sells refillable washing up liquid etc is worth a visit. The chap who runs that is very enthusiastic about recycling and was very helpful. The products I bought are great. Had a coffee which was ok then left.

Although some things are a little pricey, there is a wonderful selection of local, fresh produce, excellent baked goods, fresh meat and a wide choice of quality wines. A visit to The Courtyard for some tasty fayre is recommended. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

Bought a nice pair of jeans. Lady working in this area was lovely & friendly, really pleased with jeansBad experience in coffee shop. 3 young members of staff who took an order at the desk and said they had no carrot cake when it was right in front of me. They said they would bring the order over which was 2 drinks and cakes. I saw them dealing with the carrot cake which ended up quite a bit smaller than it started as they kept trying to use the cake slice but bits kept dropping off as the cake kept toppling over. The other cake they brought was not what was ordered. We asked for napkins and were told they could get us some toilet paper and they didn't have any teaspoons !! Lovely place with very comfy seating but won't be returning

Called in this Sunday afternoon, looking a little run down and the produce sparse. The lift was broken.Gents toilets were disgusting, the floor was swimming in urine.Signs up instructing customers to wear a mask, unfortunately non of the staff were wearing them other than the polite young lady serving us in the ice-cream shop, this is the reason for two stars instead of the one.

Don’t think it’s as busy as it used to be and there doesn’t seem to be as much choice around the deli but you can still get some amazing bottles of wine and it’s the nearest place to get rag puddings from !!

Delicious meal. Baked salmon and haddock on bed of diced potatoes and leeks with king prawns. It was a sort of chowder! Served with vegetables. Very reasonable price. Will go again just to have that dish again. Delicious.

GREAT coffee. Waitress did her best, but not very well trained. Decor very tired. Stained upholstery, peeling decals. Notices all over the place. Management needs to take a look with fresh eyes. Could be great, but they seem to have stopped trying. Coffee was excellent though. Fair play on that one.

I always enjoy a trip to Huntleys even though it's a half-hour drive. I go every couple of months. To give a balanced view I have to say that often when the food arrives. It is not what is expected. The waiting staff struggle to understand what the customer wants. But this does not take away their friendly attitude and the lovely location. For me, it's like a mini day out, to have breakfast and a wander around what they have to offer.
