Saved my life - thanks so much for giving me a split pin today I was able to continue my journey from Chichester to Brighton with two sets of brakes. ;-) Sussex Velo helped me out when my split pin decided to leave the brake calipers, so glad they were there.

Since my first visit in 2014 I've done about 5,000 miles on my bike and managed not to need any work done, apart from home cleaning and oil on occasions.Over the last few months everything had been slipping and making lots of odd noises, then after a small crash the gears were totally shot.Booked in for a Silver Service at Sussex Velo, and as expected the service was great. Fast friendly and very professional.Just taken my pride and joy for a ride, and I was amazed how much difference this service has made, until something is fixed by a pro, you don't know what you are missing.Seriously...... I discovered Sussex Vélo with a Google Search after my local bike shop had a long waiting time to service a bike. Phil was very friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job of servicing my bike with a quick turnaround. Would thoroughly recommend Sussex Vélo and I will be back again in the near future, thanks.

Really helpful people who are clearly enthusiastic about cycling and willing to chat things over. Reasonable prices too. The only shame is that the cafe is no longer operating (due to Covid & space issues) and there are no plans yet to bring it back.

Phil is one of those rare gems who has both an obvious passion for bikes and the patience to take time to explain every inch of work he's done on your bike. After both services my bike has ridden as good as fresh out of the box and I'm really grateful. I'm confident he'll put the local halfords out of business by 2028. Wouldn't go to anybody else!

Sussex Velo is THE bike place. Took my bike there for a service and it was transformed from an ‘A&E case’ into a ‘new’ bike. I’m riding it faster with the same amount of effort now - like I’ve found an extra gear!!
