Electric Diner
I m a regular electric’s customer and it never disappoints.Very good service, waiters are welcoming and polite to suggest.I love English vegetarian breakfast ( attached) but there is also the classic one with bacon and sausages. You have to try the French toast with blueberries, ( it is huge and so good)If you are looking for something with character, tasty and good for your wallet, electric is the place!

I went back to London after 10 years, and a friend dragged me for what she said would be the best English breakfast. How good can an English breakfast really get? Well, I was very surprised that everything on the plate was above expectations! What a change from hotels 10x reheated English breakfast in warm containers. Yes yes yes. She was right and I'll happily go back there!

Very lively place! We went there on Saturday morning and it was packed! I recommend making a reservation first, we were lucky to get there around 10 and have a booth to ourselves. The food there is a chef’s kiss. We ordered poached eggs on toasts, french toast and avocado toast with poached eggs.Looks like mostly locals go there. The music is loud, but with a good taste!

Came in here on a whim, and was very pleasantly surprised. The salmon bagel with capers and cream cheese (they call it a “Lower East Side”) while not 100% authentic per se is still delicious and has good portions. Also, this is the first place I’ve visited outside of the states to offer both Boilermakers and Micheladas and that’s just a lovely thing to see elsewhere. It’s a perfectly cozy and pleasant place to grab a bite whilst you’re perusing Portobello Market, and the prices aren’t wild. Very tasty.

It’s quite splendid place. Can feel very retro like in movie and the English breakfast was definitely nice.I ordered full English breakfast but may be half is enough.I completely suggest this restaurant!

By far the best English Breakfast I've had so far. The blood sausage has so much flavor, and everything else is cooked expertly to traditional perfection. Great ambience, beautifu rusticl interior, with a healthy amount of diner chatter and smooth jazz to right the mood.

The sauce of the chicken hamburger is a little bit wired cuz it’s sour. I love the steak, it’s really nice. The avocado on toast with poached eggs tasted normal, nothing special. The waitress didn’t come to serve us until we ask her to.

Ive been here a few times and often find myself wondering why i go back. I feel bad leaving a negative review but after having what was fundamentally a bad experience I needed to share. My partner and i went to the electric cinema last night and after decided to go to the diner to take advantage of the 50% off. We were seated on a cramped bench between two other couples who had to move their table for us to get in and out and there we waited for 25 minutes before we were asked if we wanted to order drinks. Once we had ordered some of the food came relatively quickly but i had to wait 8 extra minutes for my food to arrive after my partner had had his put in-front if him. After waiting for mine to arrive his food was not only cold but undercooked (see attatched) - being very uncomfortable with the idea of a ‘rare burger’ my partner sent it back and the waitress, although understanding, made us feel very stupid for asking for it to be cooked any further, saying ‘well done’ over and over and very loud when she returned it to the kitchen. 20 minutes later his replacement was bought out. We quickly tried to pay up and leave but the card machine was much more than we anticipated so we asked for an itemised bill. Upon getting the bill we find that we have been #1 charged for a Lagerita cocktail when i had just asked for a Lager and lime juice, a £4 over charge (the extra shot of tequila was not made known to either of us and constitutes spiking) and #2 a £7 gratuity had been added to the check, working in service myself i don’t usually have a problem with this but considering the poor service we received and not being presented with a bill before being asked for payment i find quite crude and presumptive. Upon inspecting the bill we contemplated asking for a refund but considering how poor and abrasive our service was throughout the entire evening we decided that it would be too much hassle and just wanted to leave.
