Right next to a busy road so traffic noise most of the time. Basic room in bad need if modernisation/refit. Bed was comfy and clean. The staff do their best to compensate for the lack of investment. If anyone from Travelodge actually reads these then take note, your staff do more for the brand than any amount of accounts and business consultants ever will. They are your greatest asset!

Good location. Clean comfortable mattress. Slightly damp and housekeeping rooted through my bag and helped themselves to some of my belongings. First time this has happened to me at a travel lodge. Best avoid this one.

Loveliest Lady on the front desk was absolutely amazing, i have a young baby and she was more than helpful by ensuring she was safe whilst i brought our stuff in, helping me with holding doors open any time she saw me, lovely manners and overall the service provided made my week! The room was spotless, and even though the hotel is near a main road you can barely hear the roads, only downfall was the construction happening along the main road but that is no fault of the hotel. The hotel is local to lots of different food places and easily accessible on foot.

A pleasant place to put down your head for a night or two. Clean, simple decor, nothing fancy. Friendly and welcoming front desk staff.Right next to a Harvester for food or across the road to a lovely Pizza Express.

absolutely shocking behaviour from the manager Sharon. she was obsessed with getting customers to do a review . to the point she told one man he can't have any more coffee/milk till he let her do a review on his phone. the hotel is dirty no pride in the workplace. and the manager is very unprofessional asking me and my work colleague if we Want to buy knocked off electric bikes. Will not be staying at that travelodge again

I recommend it more in the capacity of a motel, than a hotel. It's good if you want to stay there for 1 night, like I did. There was 1 too many insects in the hotel for my liking, because it's small, it doesn't have a Bar/Café which is a downer. However, a Harvester's just next door, so makes up for it. Also, it's next to a busy road, which isn't anybody's idea of a peaceful time, they were staying there. The receptionist cares that you don't waste money, so advises you to not put money in the vending machine, but buy whatever you want to buy from the shop across the road. I can't really say anything about the service, as I didn't really need the service. I just booked the hotel because I was eligible for a discount and needed somewhere to stay for the night. I recommend this hotel.Read less

Car park was dark. Rooms very clean and very comfortable bed. Chairs not so comfortable
