Went into store to get a jacket for my little boy as I was unsure about sizes between different brands. Rory advised me on all the different brands and features and was fantastic with my son who has autism. Rory helped us find a jacket for myself and my son. Fantastic help and advice made the trip so much easier than it usually is. Would recommend the Southport store.

Beware the membership card scam. You have to pay a £5 joining fee to get the discounted prices.There are some good deals but check the online retailers too.

I visited the Southport store today and it was a absolute pleasure. That chap that dealt with me was great. It’s a breath of fresh air these days getting such great service. I will be returning dry soon to purchase some more gear.

I am now an OAP, but have been in sales all my life, including sales training and have got to say how impressed I was with your sales assistant LORNA !! I visited your store on 23/11/22 , and LORNA was a credit to you all!! She helped in every way, nothing was too much trouble, so much so that, although I wasn’t intending to make a purchase, I did plus extras, all because of LORNA’S wonderful help and concern!! So a huge THANK YOU LORNA.

Big display on Rab T-shirt 2 for £35,but in the tiniest print underneath which is unreadable, it says members only, very misleading and underhanded, won't be spending any more of my money there,Trespass and Mountain Warehouse far better option

GREAT STORE! Days before my daughter was due to travel to Austria she announced the tent she was going to use was no longer available. I was struggling to find the tent she needed in stock anywhere but I called Go Outdoors Southport and they had one in stock. The manager was happy to hold the item until I was able to arrange collection. My dad collected the tent and said both the member of staff who served him and the manager were very helpful and friendly.

Have to pay to buy something from this shop. Was told had to pay £5 pounds to buy a membership card to get the sale price it was advertised at. I just walked out went to sport direct and found the same coat for half the price.
