Best food I’ve ever had in Cornwall. Combined with experienced staff, local ingredients and thoughtful menus, one must always pay a visit to Four Boys whenpassing through Rock.

The most wonderful restaurant with exceptional food and service. George and his team couldn’t look after you better and the food is truly delicious, the crab soup deserves a special mention. The perfect spot for lunch with friends and children while looking at the best view in the world. Thank you Four boys we will be back.

This is a friend’s favourite in the area. It’s brand new and the only place good for eating in Rock. It’s a very nice setting. Pets (if they are well behaved) are welcome on the terrace. It’s a very subtle menu.

Hi George,We have visited Blue Tomato every year sometimes two or three times for about 15 years and we really enjoyed visiting.This time, last week we arrived at Four Boys, happy with that.I asked the waitress if the kitchen had truffle oil to go on my chips, I love truffle oil. She told me they have it but it is ‘not on the menu’ and I could not have it. I didn’t see salt, pepper, vinegar, ketchup on the menu either. It really annoyed me, never having been told such nonsense. Cost is not an issue.When another elderly diner who was sitting near to us (we were a family of five) asked her for an additional chair she pointed to one and told him to get it himself.I own and run several businesses, my staff have all been trained in proper customer service, this server had clearly not.It won’t stop us visiting again but I just hope we are treated such as we were at The Mariners or Rojano where service is first class.

Amazing food - it was delicious and beautifully presented, was completely wowed! Very original and seasonal menu. Lovely waiting staff as well, 100% recommend!

Fantastic café/restaurant overlooking the bay between Rock and Padstow. It was close to 3pm when we arrived and we knew they closed then, so gingerly asked if it was OK. Of course, no problem, said the guy who served us.Great tasty food, choice between set menu and individual dishes, the chocolate cake dessert was even gluten free! Quick and friendly service, excellent wine selection! Love it - recommended.

The best place for lunch in rock. Amazing sharing style food; hake sandwich, courgette fritti, lamb fat kebabs and the daily special of chicken kebab was the best we’ve had for two weeks! great friendly relaxed service and the view incredible. We came every day! Thank you George and the 4 boys team ;)

We had a really memorable birthday dinner at Four Boys. The menu was very inspiring, with lots of interesting flavours. I'm going to have a stab a recreating a couple of them, no doubt I'll be back again to have the real thing. There was a fantastic casual atmosphere with really attentive front of house, which allowed you to enjoy the food and company without feeling on edge. Places like these are rare so it's very exciting to know we have it nearby. I will definitely be revisiting when friends are staying to show them some exciting Cornish food. Clearly a huge amount of work has gone into it from the decoration through to the menu and it really shows.
