Billing Garden Centre
Went today to buy plants, lots of dying plants that were bone dry. Mentioned it to a member of staff at the checkout who didnt seem interested. Will not be returning.

I visited this afternoon thought I would be able to manage my purchases and a bag of compost. as they say in my dreams ".Thankfully 2 members of staff came to my rescue namely LAWRENCE and JANET they were both very kind

Small garden centre, reasonable selection of plants and pots and garden tools etc. Slope down to the centre which is ok but walking back up could be an issue if you have mobility problems. Separate shop on upper level which sells linen and clothing.

The prices have reduced since the change of ownership. But they seem dear but not for a garden centre.Because of the existence, perhaps, of the cafe upstairs we could not get a tea or coffee.

A good way to spend an afternoon wandering around if you have nothing else to do with various little shops. The garden centre always looks a little unloved and is expensive. The most popular part of the store is the pet shop, that is if you don't mind seeing caged birds and animals of course.
