Ive used the port many times over the years as a motorist, cyclist and most in the last few days as a foot passenger. The place has always been a run down dump when compared to roscoff and santander, however i am moved to review it because of the dangerously shambolic situation experienced by foot passengers, At every level it is appalling as you have to make you.re way through lorries, motor homes and other such vehicles, you fear for families with young children trying to negotiate the dangerous and poorly marked route. the staff are mainly amateurish and unprofessional trying to blame brittany ferries when i raised concerns for problems which are clearly there responsibility. its unsuprising that every positive review on here appears to have been written by port employees and none by customers.a shameful entrance to the uk, God only knows what foreign visitors make of it and custom checks almost non existent, so much for 'taking control of our borders,'fit only for freight traffic i would recommend people use alternative ports i certainly will do in future.

It has all the necessary facilities, is efficient and the staff are helpful, when there. But it's basic - except for The Dock bar and restaurant. After all, it's a ferry port!

A dreadful port, inefficient cramped and not fit for purpose with regard disembarking ferries. It took us 1hr to leave the port with very slow passport control and narrow exit road. Never again!!

Most disorganised and random unloading procedure ever some lanes move forward 30-40 cars before stopping others move 5 cars then stop. Sort it out same number from each lane before stopping them, simple common sense surely.

Dreadful place, run down, scruffy. Probably the slowest place at unloading ferries, and I have used most of them. I am not sure if Brittany Ferries or them are worse. Today I was stopped in my lane by a young man who put a cone in f(the only time he took his hands from his pockets was to move cones) my car. When I asked him why, he walked away. I had to sound my horn to get him to come to me. He said with a grin that I had 'jumped' lanes which I denied. He said his colleague had sent a radio message to say I had.... I said I was not happy and I was going to complain. He refused to give me his name. Later some kind of supervisor stopped me as I was about to drive to try to mollify me. I will have to use the port again because it is most convenient for me. I wish it wasn't. By the way one star because you can't give none
